Our final 4 games are:

@ Green Bay
INDIANAPOLIS
SAN DIEGO
@Jacksonville

As stoked as I'm am for the future, getting 1 more win is going to be most difficult. Given that scenario of only picking One, which would it be?

I'd normally pick SD without much thought since they are a division rival, but they are going to win this division regardless.

I'm tempted to select Green Bay (in December against a strong Pack team with Charles Woodson) or Indianapolis (the team best equipped to unseat *NE and it's in Oakland)

Hard to say, it really is.
 
Im thinking we have a decent shot at upsetting 2 teams.

I doubt its Indy, but you never know.

There's always a couple suprises late in the season, and I predicted 6 wins, so it makes sense. :)

There are sixteen teams with 5 or less losses, with two wins, we could end up picking 15th or so...I dont know if I like that. (Although I would love to win 2 or more)
 
I half wish the season had ended yesterday... Beating KC at Arrowhead and handling Denver easily would have allowed us to go out on a high note and be used as a stepping stone into the next season, much the way Gruden's '99 team did by beating Tampa 45-0 and then knocking KC out of the playoffs at Arrowhead... As it stands, finishing up against 3 division leaders and a wild card team gives us a little too much room to backslide for my taste...


Beating Indy would be nice, but I'll go with thumping San Diego in the last game with Russell playing well in a start and hoping we play Green Bay, Indy and Jax tough...
 
Indy, Jacksonville and most likely San Diego will have all probably locked up playoff spots without much to gain by the time we play them

so there is a chance that we might get to see our full raider squad play some reserve opponents

i think we can definately beat San Diego if the offense plays as consistantly as it has the past 3 weeks

and we should be able to pull of an upset against some Jaguar backups

if finish the season 6-10 or 5-11, i would be pleased. at least it gives us a respectable record for a team on the come up, which could lure in some free agents (like bernard berrian who would be a scary good deep threat with Jamarcus throwing the rock)
 
I want that Charger game pretty damn bad. Getting the trifecta would just be too sweet. Still, it stands to reason that they'll be hyped for the game simply because that dislike us so. Should be a tough one. Maybe LT will pull a hammy before then. That'd be nice.

If Sir Charles and KGB are still out, we've got a better than average shot at beating Green Bay. My biggest concern against them is Greg Jennings. He's almost Rice-like in his ability to take a short pass and seemingly turn into the wind. If we can find a way to tackle wind, we can steal this game.

I doubt we see the backups from Indy as they are still chasing NE for the #1 seed which will make all the difference to their playoff campaign. So I think they keep their foot buried until week 17, especially with NE coming close to defeat a couple of times over recent weeks, the possibility of home-field is still there for Coach Dungy.

I can see us knocking over SD, call it wishful thinking but all the teams in the west this year have looked mediocre at best, so it's not out the way to expect us to go 1-1 with everyone in the west.

I think we upset the pack this week, only problem is that it's away and bloody cold in Green Bay this time of year. If Favres shoulder is bothering him then I can see us doing well and winning by a Jano score. We could get blown out, or, I think we could squeek it.

The Jags have been a suprise this year and I really can't see us picking up a W there, for 1 reasons, one being Fred Taylor, the other being MoJo. If one doesn't go the other does and we are in trouble! Having said that though, if we can shutdown the run we have a legitimate shout
 
Crow, Turner is no Marty --- relative to your take about SD being hyped to play us. Marty was the best at telling and convincing his team how the Raiders would self destruct. With Turner the players are wondering if THEY themselves will sell destruct. :)
 
Keys to beating the Pack:

*STOP THE RUN
*Pressure Favre and Make him throw to the middle of the field
*Establish the run and use Zach Miller

Game comes down to field position and the legs of the kickers. I think we could have a good shot of winning to be honest. I like the Zach Miller matchup and moving the chains with Curry sitting inside.

If Favre gets hot early, it will get ugly with the combo of those 3WR's...I could see us using our backers on the TE's and roaming Huff to double Jennings. The weather could be the shits, which could work to our advantage.

Call me crazy....but I think we may match best against the Jags to pull out another victory.
 
San Diego. Kiff is now 2-0 when meeting teams for the second time, y'know.

We could beat Indy with all the injuries they have, especially if Marvin Harrison isn't coming back until the play-offs. We pulled out a surprise victory at home against last year's injury-depleted Super Bowl champs.

I doubt we could beat Jacksonville this week, but in four weeks? That's a long time in football.
 
I think there are 3 winable games there, and I say that becasue not one team has smoked us this season... but I do think a team like the Colts could very well dismantle us becasue they're just so good at what they do reguardless of their injuries. I'm just glad it's not in Indy casue I could see us getting embarrased in the dome.

These games all come down to how stupid our dumbass QB's play IMO. If they protect the ball while not going into a shell then we'll be in these games.
 
i actually like us against the pack because of the weather

we're a running team, they can't really run anything other than spread-draws

we can win games without passing the ball much, but i dont think the same can be said for them

if Nnamdi can lock up Jennings the way he did Walker and the run D can just lmit the big running plays, i like our chances
 
We have a tough test next week, nad it seems unlikely we can control Favre. He's another Raider killer without the hate. Indy will be almost impossible unless they giftwrap the game. Jacksonville is in contention and will play like that. So SD is the only possibility, mainly because his ups and downs. They have a lot more talent in almost every position, so we need a system failure to win that game. Turdner can do the trick, cos hes an around .500 coach. He is above eit now, so we may expect a couple more loses for our dear Norvell.

You can see as Marty left the division, we started to win games again...
 
If we only win one more game I definitely want to see us thrash the Chargers. How sweet would that be to beat each of our AFC West rivals

That said, I want two more. GB and SD would be nice.
 
Hell, I want 'em all. I imagine having some bragging rights over your beloved Charger neighbors would be a real gem, though.
