Well why didn't you tell me that before? What the fuck are we playing the game for anyway.
Silly, silly, I was saying you can't win while trying to kick a rabid dog. Everyone has a chance to win.
I don't claim the Raiders will win but they have a legit chance. Lots going for them. Lots of question marks on the Patsie* team. They have some question marks to answer themselves. How much will they miss their offensive and defensive coordinators? How much will they miss their middle linebacker? Will there weak receiving corps continue to pull rabbits out of the hat? Ditto their defensive backfield.
The Patriots' receiving corps. is really good. Extremely deep. Lot of good to very good players, even if Deion Branch is the only semi-elite. There are so many good receivers and tight ends on the Patriots that I'm having trouble keeping track of them all. Branch, Givens, Watson, Brown, Graham, Dwight, Fauria... that tight end corps. alone is pretty unbeatable in the league.
]qipte\I think much of it depends on the pressure the Raiders are able to put on Brady* early. That will set the tone. And if the Collins to Moss connection warms up quickly it could get interesting![/quote]
I didn't think the Raiders would have the capacity for that sort of pass rush and they're proving me right so far. However, they are burning the Patriots' defense.
Unfortunately, the rest of the defense is so terrible that Woody doesn't even register a blip. The Patriots keep burning the same d-back, think his name starts with a G, help me out here.
And at the risk of bogarting the forum and becoming the "Top Poster"
