Whats with the Brooks bashing?

This game is 21-0 if Walter is in the game

Lay off the guy already

I think some of us are vocally hoping Brooks is playing anywhere but here next year... regardless of how bad of a fit Walter is with the bed and breakfast offense.

No question about that. I think we need a QB..not sure Walter is gonna be able to git'r done especially if Shell and Walsh are still around next season. In that case Brooks is as good as anybody. We have to have a QB who can move around. If Walter is in there he takes a minimum of 8 sacks. The Chargers got 5 sacks anyway today.

As much as I hate to say it, I don't think Walter is going to be the long term answer at QB, unless he learns to move a lot more. I was actually impressed by the way Brooks was able to use his mobility to get out of a few sacks. If the Oline was performing at 2002 standards, he'd be deadly, but then again Walter would have a chance to be as well.

I'm still on the Peterson/Lynch bandwagon, however.

He will....and he'll make it sound so true....someone needs to ask him to explain why the initial call that it was the Raiders ball...suddenly required like 3different huddles and all of the refs plus at least 10 minutes time to decide that 'aw hell, the chargers get the ball back and a first down'...yeah...this was a BS call all the way.

That was a question I had too. Why did they initially rule it a fumble and then fall all over themselves to change it? Had they called it a fumble and left it at that, no one would have questioned it (I don't think).

As it is they make it look like they were pro San Diego since they seem to be media darlings this year.

BS call.

Takes that whole tuck rule and makes it look even more bogus to me. It once again underscores that the player didn't have to have an intention to pass the ball for them to call it an incomplete or illegal forward pass. Totally lame.
