If we somehow managed to snag GB's first pick, I'd still target Marshawn Lynch, maybe keep an eye on Adrian Peterson should he start to slip towards 10 or so...QUOTE]
I'm afraid it's wishful thinking at this point that we'll get Green Bay's 1st round pick. No way Tompson will deal that much for Randy. Even if we did I can't see Peterson slipping past Cleveland at #3 and Lynch slipping past Buffalo at #12. We'd need to package GB's 16th overall selection with our 3rd or something to move up to nab Lynch.
Here's the first round order = bolded teams may go running back in my opinion and my comments in red.
1. Oakland Raiders (2-14) they need everything but Peterson would be a huge upgrade over what they've got
2. Detroit Lions (3-13)
3. Cleveland Browns (4-12) Newly acquired Lewis won't last much longer and A.P. might be too tempting to pass up!
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-12)
5. Arizona Cardinals (5-11) Edge is getting old and less effective than before
6. Washington Redskins (5-11)
7. Minnesota Vikings (6-10) Chester Taylor is their best back but how good is he really? Mewelde Moore, Ciatrick Fasion...
8. Houston Texans (6-10) Never should have passed on Bush. Now aging and injury prone Ahman Green and Dominique Davis?
9. Miami Dolphins (6-10)
10. Atlanta Falcons (7-9)
11. San Francisco 49ers (7-9)
12. Buffalo Bills (7-9) A-Train not going to cut it.
13. St. Louis Rams (8-8)
14. Carolina Panthers (8-8)
15. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-8)
16. Green Bay Packers (8-8) Vernand Morancy and Noaha Herron are you kidding me? Look for the Pack to move up!
17. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-8)
18. Cincinnati Bengals (8-8)
19. Tennessee Titans (8-8)
20. New York Giants (8-8)
21. Denver Broncos (9-7)
22. Dallas Cowboys (9-7)
23. Kansas City Chiefs (9-7)
24. New England Patriots (From Seattle 9-7)
25. New York Jets (10-6)
26. Philadelphia Eagles (10-6)
27. New Orleans Saints (10-6)
28. New England Patriots (12-4)
29. Baltimore Ravens (13-3)
30. San Diego Chargers (14-2)
31. Chicago Bears(13-3)
