Sharks finally looking competitive. Cellebrini is a stud. Still need to beef up that defense but they score goals.
 
Penguins fired their stale shitty coach this offseason and now look like one of the better teams despite setting up for a tank.

Goes to show what keeping a shitty coach does for you. Meanwhile that coach's new team is in the cellar.

How is a team with Crosby and Malkin on it tanking? Sharks are a .500 team now and beat some of the league leaders over the past couple of weeks. I'm calling my shot Owen Nolan All Star Game style, we are making the playoffs this year.

Trading the moveable vets and taking bad contracts to get picks with more focus on the latter. Crosby, Malkin, and Letang are lifers no matter what.
 
Does hockey have a season pass that lets you watch games without having to have an additional streaming service?

I’m not sure but I don’t think so. You can get most games on either local sports (NBC Bay) and the ESPN+ App.
 
Celebrini is the points leader and Sharks just beat the champs. Hockey is fun again for me.

He needs to be on the Canadian Olympic team. Its crazy Bedard/Schaeffer/Celebrini are all under 22.

Really good GM and they properly tanked and rebuilt.

Its more common in the NHL for teams to fully sell off players for picks and embrace a 3 year rebuild but Misa and Ravensbergen last year among 5 top 100 picks. (Ravensbergen plays for my PG Cougars in the WHL). 5 more top 100 picks the year before and two more first rounders in the Will Smith draft.

They could have something really special brewing.
