Yah surprisingly went downhill after they acquired Devers. It's not Buster's fault. He inherited a shit team from Farrakhan. Fuck a bunch of metrics. The problem is the Giants just don't develop prospects from their farm system like the Dodgers, Yankees and other successful franchises. When is the last good power hitter they brought up?
 
The problem is that the formula for the Giants will always be pitching and defense. Get back to that.

They had the pitching earlier. It's a pretty decent starting rotation. Shit just fell apart.

Yah squeaking out those one run games finally caught up with them. @Chris_77 I right, they need to focus on strengthening the pitching staff and getting some guys who can at least put the ball in play. Pac Bell will never be a power hitters park.
