With like two exceptions all of his starts have been garbage. Throw in a stint on the IR and it’s really a no brainer.

He’s washed. Move on.
 
Giants bats silent again. Devers has been a dud. He's hitting like .217 since the trade. He could have won the game in extra innings yesterday. I can see why Giants have been reluctant to sign these big $$ FA's. These monstrous contracts rarely work out. There's rumors of Giants adding more power to the lineup before the trade deadline.

I’ll just say this: Fuck Patrick Bailey.

Matos comes up big with a two run pinch hit HR to get it to extra innings. The bullpen shuts the dodgers down in the 10th and then Bailey can’t even bunt to move the runner to third. Next guy up hits one to the wall which would have scored the winning run from third.

Bailey hitting like a buck ninety or some shit and just can’t do the a basic thing you learn in little league.

Huge game to lose and it’s Bailey’s fault.

Bit of a head case sounds like. Maybe Boston knew what they were doing. One of the beat guys said he's been dealing with some back issues and suggested they put him on the 10 day DL since he's struggling so much.
 
WGN was a local cable network for whatever reason when I was a kid and I used to watch a ton of Cubs games in the late eighties, early nineties.

Same, though maybe not a ton. If the Braves weren't on, my grandfather might flip to WGN and watch the Cubs. I called myself a Cubs fan just to be contrarian. I remember Sandberg being really good, even if I wasn't really invested in the sport. Rick Sutcliffe also really stood out.
 
Giants toast @Crossbones. Swept again and lost to the lowly Pirates. You were right. Those one run wins weren't going to keep happening as the pitching has gone to shit. They've been worse with Devers in the lineup. Horrible trade.
 
The other night I heard they were 0-21 with RISP. That’s their biggest problem. The hitters are not good in clutch situations. The Devers trade hasn’t worked out at all.

Bring on the Raiders.
