Pimblett looking strong. Didn't thing he could dominate Chandler like this.
 
Paddy the Motherfuckin’ Baddy. Damn. That was domination! And Alex looks like the time off got him back to his old form. Really, really good card!
 
I think Chandler may be near his end as well. He may be able to hang in the top 10 for a bit longer, but I think he's slowly been slipping and Pimblett proved it handily.
 
Smith just gave up. Seen it before in his recent fights.
 
Bo not ready yet. Fighting against a top 15 guy only 7 fights in was too much.
 
Completely forgot about this card. Was Bo even competitive or did he just get worked?
 
Bo had some moments in Rd 1, but was outclassed. Got run over in Rd 2 and got popped to the midsection, which led to the end. It's actually a good thing for him in my mind, as he basically ran over everything in his path leading up to this. This will force him to work on other facets of his game if he really wants to rise to the top. I still see a bright future for him in the sport.
 
Great main event. Fuck Muhammad. Most unlikable fighter in the UFC.
 
Forgot this card was even happening. Although I like Belal, I like Islam more so I’m happy that his window to double-champ just opened. I also think Ilia needs to fight somebody before a title shot up a weight so fuck that guy.

Nah. I get most of them. We just FINALLY got the weather to turn nice. Lots of spring cleaning, playing outside with the grandson, and motorcycle riding to come. Just got caught up today working on irrigation lines. Thank you though!
 
Gastelum is another fighter that needs to hang them up. Slow and fat, just doesn't have the dedication anymore. Just doing it for the paycheck.

Honestly, I thought Gastelum rallied pretty well and was picking up steam from about 2:00 left in the second. Pyfer definitely won… but the commentators were absolutely correct to criticize him for just headhunting. Powerful and accurate… but also boring and not even close to championship level.

Kevin Holland looked really sharp. I can’t really decide if I like the guy or not. Is he a villain? Is he a funny guy? With all the talking he does, I can’t decide. Talented and a game fighter with an entertaining style though. No denying that.

The Patchy Mix hype got derailed before it could even get started.

Kayla did exactly as expected and steamrolled Pena, who has always been overrated. You can’t take away the fact that she shocked the world by beating Amanda in that first fight (she was a fucking +900 dog!) but she’s just… not great and barely good. Either way, I’m cheering for Amanda!

The main event went exactly how I thought it would go. Suga Sean has a fun style and a big personality… but when it comes to beating a high level wrestler, he’s not that dude. He’s never been that dude. He wasn’t going to suddenly become that dude against a guy that’s as great as Merab is. I like both fighters but this ended exactly how it was always going to end from the time they announced the fight. And even if O’Malley hadn’t tapped, he hadn’t won a round and lost the last round 10-8. As O’Malley said afterwards, “Merab is a Motherfucker!”
 
Oh, and this is not political, other than to point out the humor, but…

How funny was it that, after literal years of displaying twitter posts during the broadcast, they were all of a sudden displaying posts from threads exclusively? I honestly laughed out loud about it.
 
I agree. That was bullshit. They should kick Bellato out.
