Teams interested in trading for #Giants DT Dexter Lawrence are under the impression the Giants won’t entertain any deal that doesn’t include a 1st-round pick and possibly more.

When the #Jets traded Quinnen Williams, they received a 1st in 2027 and a 2nd in 2026 from Dallas.

No shit. Dal has Q. Williams under contact for $21.6M this year, and $25.5M next year, when he’ll likely want a new deal. Even if Dal extends him next year, he’ll have played 25 games for Dal under an old contract with the NYJ eating dead cap and Dal paying no comp for 7 games last year after the trade. Lawrence is a year older, is coming off a poor year, and wants $30M+ guaranteed coin now and for at least a second year.
