I submitted my letter of resignation to The Athletic. Everything I have to say about it is below.

Both of them (Vrabel and Russini) are dumb for this. These HCs, owners, writers, hell even GMs all function in a large fishbowl. The writers are looking for stories, scoops, and the team guys all know that's part of the game. I'm sure a weasel like Schefter bends ethical rules all the time. But, unfortunately for Russini, she's now looks like she's doing more than that- adultery with a HC in the league you report on is just awful optics- for her, him, and the Athletic. And that's on top of the adultery, which would not matter for either of them if it was with anyone else.

The beat writers cover up a lot of shit. I've heard a lot about what Sean Payton was doing in New Orleans. There is another picture of those two in Indy, so they weren't exactly worried about getting caught. Imo, I think the husband probably hired a PI, hearing how the pictures were shopped around with no takers until the Post published them. When have you known of TMZ to turn down gossip shit? He probably told the PI they could do with the pics what they wanted to after he got confirmation that she was fucking around, and this lands in the maximum damage column, so killing two birds with one stone.

meh- seems people don't even try anymore. Noem and Lewandowski put a bedroom on a plane for their trysts. But yeah, a reporter covering the NFL and Vrabel should know better.

Yep, she has a rap sheet. They gonna start coming out the woodworks. Sean Payton is allegedly on the list too. Just look at any coach she praised over the top over the years like she did Vrabel and Payton. How she slanted stories in favor of him and against the Titans seemed like it came from a PR firm. Titans fans also think she leaked that the Titans wanted to trade up for Stroud because Vrabel didn't want to do it, which prompted the Texans to take him at two.
