@Sleet has a point. Our roster is pretty fucking bad. Scheme doesn't really matter when your roster is shit to begin with. Other teams are claiming players, so it's curious that he doesn't see anything around the league that could upgrade any of this garbage on this roster? I know that half these players aren't NFL caliber and somebody should be looking to churn their asses.

Part of it is the difference between say evan neal and mafi is slight in neals favor but hes going to take 6 weeks to get up to speed - then mafi is going to be "better" now.

Now that guys we bring in dont go on roster... we can churn the ps for upgrades. We already let wagner walk who was an annual add to the ps. Missouri and Henning will get thier shots at it. Putnam is likely on shakey ground - but was deemed the only iol worth keeping.

Gotta have depth in order. Projects on ps need to have at least some hope of holding up if we need a call up. No more stone Forsythe surprises

Even the practice squad is mostly just guys that we didn't have room for on the regular roster. I think Spytek just likes his guys.

Harbaugh said Travis Burke’s emergence as a swing tackle has made it possible that the Chargers play both Pipkins and Awosika.

Probably a good thing after last year. There was a good amount of churning with Pete and that didn’t net good results at all especially on the offensive side of the ball.

I’d imagine the plan for this year from both Spytek and KK is to keep it simple. Establish your systems with players that have been working with it all offseason. Work with what you have so you don’t have to slow down. It just seems more efficient from a getting ready for games standpoint.

Ya I just don’t see much movement happening especially in bunches. Maybe one here and one there. Let one guy get up to speed then make another move. I fully expect a slow transactional year while the new staff gets into the flow of the year. I’m good with that. The potential “upgrades” I think would be minimal at best and then you have to find time to bring them up to speed of your system.
