The old one is just too long and confusing. 11,000 posts; 184,000 views. What’s the sense of thst now?

Post new stuff here!

Just got old. It showed.

A.J. Brown trade discussions are not dead.

Last week, I was told the Rams discussed trading for Eagles WR A.J. Brown before dealing for CB Trent McDuffie.

Dialogue slowed, but Los Angeles continues to monitor the status of the three-time Pro Bowler with interest. We’ll see where both parties go from here.

Dungy out at NBC.

Was he bad?

No.

I always liked him. The rest of their SNF panel is terrible. Garrett knows his stuff but his monotone voice ruins it. At least, their broadcasting is solid.

Prediction: JJ and Penix lose their jobs to Murray and Tua. Not really a hot take I know but I bet that's what happens.
Wouldn’t be surprised at all if this were to happen. In fact, I’d be surprised if it didn’t…

McCarthy just isn’t ready yet and could use some (more) time on the bench. On top of that, JJ and Addison were frustrated with McCarthy and I don’t think their HC wants to have the two players that are the engine of that O check out on him / the team.

Penix likely won’t be physically ready to start the season and even if he were, it probably wouldn’t make sense to throw him in there after missing the offseason program and possibly even the preseason. And will be interesting to see how Tua might perform given the weaponz (Bijon, London, Pitts, etc) the Falcons have at their disposal.

Atl paid Cousins to play and now are playing Tua on Mia's dime?

IMO Vikings were stupid for not signing Darnold. In hindsight I imagine they would agree. They should have traded McCarthy last year, probably could this year given this weak QB class. They might get a team to give up a 2nd rounder for him.

Yeah, I've been saying that here while you were gone. When it comes to NFL QBs never give up the bird in hand for one in the bush.

It's ironic you mention this. A lot of people on this board thought it was a fluke and supposedly, the Vikings almost traded JJ to the Raiders haha!

I was one of them. Last offseason, I wanted anybody BUT Darnold, honestly.
