@gst8 I’m a new to PC guy (still can’t fully commit) and I’m the same way. I am more comfortable with a controller. I feel like I really like the mouse, but am a liability using the keyboard. They have a few devices that allow you to use a thumb stick and buttons with your left (or right if you’re a lefty) and a mouse. I have not tried it yet but it’s something to look at. I am looking at the Azeron device. Here is a good article on options.

@Turo Robo Recall is fun as hell. As is Asgard’s Wrath, and the new Walking Dead game.

@raiderfreak7 19 June, The Last Of Us 2 is out. I didn’t realize it was coming out this summer lol.

I mean, you can always just grab a $25 Xbox controller and plug that in.

TLOU2 is out tomorrow. Fuck. I really wish I had a PS4 but I just can't get myself to buy one now with the PS5 coming out. I'm stoked to see how it turns out. Lots of drama with the leaks but the early reviews have been great so far.

TBH I think I might wait to play it until PS5 as well. I’m sure it will be a launch title with the graphical upgrades and what not.

Yeah I use my XB elite sometimes. Like you said it’s plug and play.

Most of my friends play XBox so I’m normally on that anyways.

I am suuuuuuper on the fence about Asgard vs Skyrim VR w/ mods.

If Skyrim VR was $30 or less I'd have gotten it already. But $60 for a game I've already bought at least 2-3 times? Lol, augh.

Ohhhh and get this shit. I forget if I posted about it before or not. But the Woojer people are releasing the next generation of their haptic feedback vest/belts that use silent transducers to generate vibration/bass response. It is 40% off right now through their indiegogo campaign so I said fuck it and spend some of my stimulus money on a haptic feedback vest. Going to shit my pants when something rolls up on me unexpectedly lol

What sold me was a review where the guy said his one complaint was that it felt too real, he could feel the shock waves concussing through him from front to back. BUY NOW.. lol

I'm planning on watching a guy on YT do a playthrough when it first launches and then playing it when the PS5 comes out. I need to see what happens haha I've avoided the spoilers pretty much but need to know how it ends up.

And speaking of watching it... first video came out today. I'm alone at work and gonna watch it until I have to leave haha.

Skyrim special edition / Skyrim VR are both on 70% off sale rn.

I grabbed it for VR and will definitely be getting mods for it on Nexus, but even vanilla Skyrim is crazy immersive. My heart started pounding when that first 20ft spider comes at you in Bleak Falls Barrow. Fuck, even the rats charging at me in the tunnel was batshit crazy intense lol.

The swordplay is probably the weakest part of the port. So I'm sticking with a sneaky Archer / stealth build. You have to pull back the arrows and release them with your dominant hand while you ajm the bow with your other.

Even lockpicking is cooler doing it in 3D.

Wonder How much money they have made off of this game?

are any of the consoles good for VR? Would like to set something up in my workout room but don't want to deal with a PC.

I finished watching the playthrough a few days ago and it's just a fucking rollercoaster of emotions. Not going to say any spoilers but I still don't know what to think of everything a few days later. It was a fucking intense experience. Now I need a PS5 and to play it myself.

Playing a game nowadays is like controlling a 30-hour movie. It's a legit cinematic experience. Crazy how impressive the graphics in games has gotten.

My wife usually asks what movie I'm watching.

Regarding The Last of Us... is it similar in game play to a Red Dead or Witcher style game?
