1) Andrew Walter looked solid at times, but that interception in the endzone, not the hail mary which was bad in itself, but the other one... he had a guy in a post pattern to the corner wide open, why is Shoop calling these fuckin throws in the middle of the field and not going to the corners, or is this Walter fuckinup?

2) Ronald Curry is a fuckin badass.. Randy who? Fuck Moss.. we dont need him

3) Nice game Fargas.. solid bro.. Does the Nips need to rethink taking a RB and going with AlanBranch instead? stay tuned..

4) Robert Galler sucks ass at LT. you guys wanted it.. you got it.. move the MF'er to RT like the Nips been saying and just leave the guy there will ya? That 1st fumble recover Allen beat him like a drum

Quit fuckin around with Gallery already at LT... Enough God Damnit

5) I like Walter, I think the kids got potential... but he better start protecting that ball... Whats with him always raising the ball up in the air when he getting sacked? Tuck the ball bitch

6) Oaklands defense played very well

7) 226 yards passing, 100 + yards rusing and still no TD's

8) That said, plays were there to score, Andrew just missed the reads

9) OL played better than I've seen all year other than Gallery

10) This team scores on average 17 points a game, with this defense and they are a playoff team...They cant score TD's.. they will not win until they do. This team is in a better position to win than most below .500 teams if they can just score in the redzone

I'm not sure who to blame here, but the Raiders, especially having Moss, HAVE got to start hitting the corners of the endzone.. whoevers fuckin that up needs to have dick in vice...
 
Alvis Whitted. 13 starts, 27 rec, 299 yards and 0 TDs. Ronald Curry last 3 games, 28 rec, 292 yards and 1 TD.

Lance Johnstone. 11 games, 2 sacks. Kevin Huntley. 4 games, 2.5 sacks.

I just know if John Madsen had gotten Randal Williams' playtime we'd see a similar increase in production. We've been stupid this year in how we keep trotting the same unproductive players out there game after game. Fucking injuries are the only reason Whitted and Johnstone aren't still out there.
 
I cant watch these NFL network Raider games in the bar anymore. I have to drink down the pain, and i cant pay rent.

Good to see he included in there the fuggin morons who decided that Whitted should be on the field instead of Curry... Please don't tell me Curry can opt out of his contract... Of course even if he can't, we'll probably resign Whitted and trade Curry for a 4th round pick or something...

He apparently has a $5 million dollar roster bonus due in the off-season. So I see one of two scenarios happening. Either we re-sign him to a contract extension with the promise that he's a starter (he probably won't sign unless we include the promise) or we trade him.

I think the Raiders can hopefully work out an extension, he deserves it and in the Raiders defense they really stayed with this guy after most had written him off. As far as Whitted, he'll probably be re-signed as long as Art has a say.

BTW, Daniel Graham has been very impressive today vs the Jags...


Extending Curry and signing Graham would be a good way to kick off the offseason...

From what I've heard Curry would like to stay but he also wants to start. If we make him a starter he'll be a happy fellow. But if we don't I doubt he'll restructure which would pretty much force us into trading him. Because it doesn't make sense for us to pay him $6.5 million (roster bonus + salary) next year to be a slot receiver.

... but the Bucs kind of did. With that win, we're guaranteed no worse than the 2nd pick. Personally, I'd rather see the Raiders pick 2nd, since we're pretty much guaranteed a shot at a franchise player with either pick.

It would piss me off to no end if we can't keep Curry... He didn't complain when he was forced to stand on the sidelines and watch while another WR he was clearly better than got all the snaps... he didn't pout when the coaches played him on special teams all year... All he did was get open and make catches every time we put him out there... That's the very kind of guy you reward with a starters job and contract...

I'd really like to hear from Freddy B or Shell or whoever the hell the reasoning behind not utilizing the guy the first ten or so games of the year...
 
I think the main reason why Curry was limited was becasue they were being safe with his Injury. At least i hope so. That and Al's wrinkeled boner for Alvis Shitted. Curry would still be a major injury concern for possible Fagent suitors.

The irony is that we could have said a lot of this about Gabriel before he got sent packing to New England (though I do think Curry is significantly better than Gabriel). Personally, I think resigning Curry should be a priority, especially considering we could more than likely lose both Moss and Porter as well.
 
Art Shell is on my shit list. There is no explaining why Ronald Curry was healthy enough to play special teams but not to supplant Whitted as a starting WR on this shitty team. Shell has a problem with being stubborn. Hopefully he'll get his ass canned. Can't stick up for the guy any longer. He's not a good head coach. He does nothing to motivate this team and makes ridiculous personnel decisions. Plus he has no idea how to "manage" people. His lack of communication skills is a huge red flag.

I think it was Banter who brought this up: No matter the conversation about Art Shell, nobody has ever said ``...hell he’s a great head coach”. Case closed. Plug the plug Al.
 
Ronald Curry has earned his right to be this teams #1 WR, just like Chad Slaughter earned his right to be the starting LT

I'd like to know who it is that is making these fucked up decisions

If Curry leaves next year I'll be fuckin pissed and will lay that blame squarely on the shoulders of Al Davis

And I will feel sad the day he takes a dirt nap, but yet relieved

I wasn't aware he was slotted to make that much but just one of those heavy backloaded deals. I'm sure we can convert that into a 3-4 year deal with a nice signing bonus which he more than deserves. I'd hate to see him leave and turn into a pro bowl calibre wr elsewhere.
 
Ronald Curry is one of my favorite Raiders, but we would do well to remember that the Raiders were the team that drafted him in the 7th round and were patient enough to develop him.

I think he remains a Raider in 2007 and I personally think he wants to be here. I get the sense that he is a loyal guy.

Aside from the Special Teams PT, which does seem like a mistake, I didn't have a huge problem with the Raiders bringing him along slowly this season.

Yes, number 2 isn't so bad. I guess we can't even be first when it comes to being worst.
