Fuck You Geno Smith

Coaches and GMs don’t want to lose. Neither do players.
Don’t count on the tanking theory.
How about a QB that doesn't turn it over 7 times in 4 games.
That alone would be a big help.
we seem to lose way too much for that to be true

That safety baited Geno twice on the same play and picked his pocket twice.
The third int was on Jakobi, he can't slant down field and allow the DB to undercut it.
Pete said Geno was fully aware of the safety. They've practiced against that defensive look quite a bit. Geno believed he could rifle the ball in before he safety could get to it. Obviously, he was wrong. Twice. Same issue he had against the Chargers, I think it was. He's hardheaded and slow to learn his lessons.

Maybe Dirty Pete ‘splain’ it to him now.

If they can sort out this OL, they need to go more to a ball control, run the ball, eat the clock offense. I knew Geno had the reputation of a gunslinger who will throw an int but never imagined it he'd be this bad.

Geno mostly limited his brain fades to the Red Zone. Now it seems anyplace on the field is fair game for an interception.

Wake up Geno. Get your shit under control.

Literally said he was hardheaded lol.

Basically the same unit as last season sans Cappa but they were much better than this. This current group just looks totally lost out there.

Once JPJ got in, better.

We are going into the 4th week and I have not seen any signs whatsoever that the OL is progressing. If someone has, please fill me in on those developments.

While I am concerned about AJ not getting a fair shot at success in his rookie season, I am becoming more and more concerned about Geno just surviving.

The debacle that is this OL is beyond simply sabotaging the success of the entire offense but rather it is also sadly putting some player's at risk.

I wish I could witness more of a sense of urgency and determination in this regard.

Geno holds the ball too long. Makes a pre-snap read, gets off it late.

We were on pace for 62 last year by end of week 3. We have given up one more sack this year compared to last. Minshew just a better scrambler than Geno I guess.

The interior O-line was overmatched. The pick on either Meredith or Parham in short yardage.

One came from butt fuck nobody college and the other is undergoing a position change too.

Straight up developmental fliers.

I’m more worried about Pegues and Tonka. Someone here had Pegues as a two way stallion who would rush and receive TD passes as well as contribute on D. I’d like them to play 9 snaps on D soon.

That was me. This is the first game he was active. Pretty damn obvious he could help in short yardage.

Nope, Geno was late on the third. On time, the DB could not have got there -- still on Geno. Doesn't matter what Carroll says.

He had a rough day at the office for sure, but I don't think the tape is as bad as the stat sheet.

Video gif. Two little boys sit across from one another and one of them is closing his eyes tightly and crossing his fingers with all his might. He's hoping really, really hard for something to come true. 's hoping really, really hard for something to come true.

It was worse than the stat sheet. On the first pick, Tucker was open for six.

Geno is not reading the field post snap. He stares down pre-snap read and is late. Stop the shotgun crap, get him under C and have him scan field on drop back and throw on the last step of the drop. Run and play action work better behind C.

I thought Geno could be the bridge to the next QB. He played well in Seattle or so I was told. Don't follow the Seahawks.

We got the Jets Geno. Got paid and turned into that Raider pumpkin. Hey Halloween. See what I did there?

Three picks in a game v whoever they played. Bears. Wasted Maxx.

Coach chewing gum won't bench him so you won't get to shit on Pickett any time soon.

Gotta believe Pickett would have done better than that awful shit. Hot damn this team is almost as cursed as the Jets.

Jeanty breaking out was nice I guess.

Maybe I am cynical but I don't think there is any move that can take place over the next couple of months that will improve the QB position in any meaningful way.

I will wait to see what can be done in the offseason until then the QB position is broken.
