Dolphins coming off of their bye and we travel to Miami... usually the type of game we come out flat and lose like 38-14 in. Let's see what Pierce can do with getting this team ready against a talented Dolphins team. A win this week might make me a real believer in this group.

Let's not forget they were where we were just a couple of years ago, and actually if we beat them, they will be exactly where we are this year even with all the fanfare. So there is still a lot of loser mentality in them.

I'm relishing it the more I look into it. I thought their defense was better. They're actually pretty terrible this year. It all comes down to if we can handle that speed outside, which Waddle will be hobbled, and we know Hill. We also know Fangio on the flipside with that defense. Graham needs to take Belichick's game plan and add some Raider wrinkles to it. He took away Tua's first read to get the ball out quickly. When he has to go through progressions, he isn't as good.

Not really sure how good the Phish are. Their wins came against the Donkeys and Dolts, the Patsies (twice), the Panthers and the Giants. Lost to the Bills, Iggles and Chefs. In other words, beat the teams with losing records, lost to the team with winning records.

O is going to need to score, D is going to need better pass rush discipline against Tua.

Using Jacobs to control ToP and get TDs. Got gashed for 220+ by the Dolts week 1, haven't faced a good back since.

This is a winnable game, which by definition makes it losable.

We don't get a consistent pass rush, we don't match up well here.

They literally haven't beaten a team over .500 in over a calendar year. They're the definition of winning the games you're supposed to and beating nobody else otherwise.

Other than in Denver on opening day, and even then it was not great, this team has traveled poorly — getting blown out by Buff, run off the field by Chi, and the O not showing up in Det. Would like to see a competitive game against Mia, but . . . .

But they have blown out lesser teams. And Ramsey will be back, I think.

He came back against the Patriots. I think he had a pick in that game. I know, shocking. Mac Jones threw a pick.

We just need to make sure we're not a lesser team. The Lions arguably have more talent without having the X factor in Hill, and we kept that offense in check most of the game with the moron running the team. That's why I said it's a good thing we have a lot of familiarity with him.

obligatory they're mammals, not fish

I dont know if we have the team speed on D we need for this one. I think we can score some points on them.

Not hopeful for this one.
I'm more hopeful that we'll compete than win. I think there's just too much offense coming from their side for us to deal with.

We are one of the games they are supposed to though...

Take #37. Then we lose handily and fall back down to earth. Rinse wash repeat

A couple of weeks ago we were. We bust somebody's ass early on in that game, and they'll start bitching up like all finesse teams do.

One of the neighbors is a Fins season tix holder. Had two good seats at face value. I'm not driving three hours and spending $$ on lodging and food until I start seeing this team compete on a weekly basis.

Where do you hide Peters? Whether it’s Hill (super fast) or Waddle (fast), Peters is slow. Guess underneath coverage with double safeties on top?

Have to pound the rock, which is now the team's personality. Play keep away from the Dolphins explosive offense.

Then hopefully get pressure on Tua and get some turnovers (in turn, not fumble or throw picks to Miami)

I still don't know who can match up with Tyreek Hill other than doubling him, which frees up the other Miami receivers. Good luck with that.

Make it an ugly game, pounding Miami with body blows.

That's going to the formula for the remaining 7 games.
