By competitive I meant the ability to make some noise in the playoffs. In that sense we are a couple years out, which is why I don't mind drafting a QB and leting him sit for a year or two.

We might have more immediate needs but nothing beats the long term impact of a good QB IMO... except maybe Super Mario.

In that sense I agree, but I don't see Leinart (or Young, for those who like him) offering much (if any) more than Walter (Young does bring feets but not the decision-making). I think Young is farther away from being, and maybe never will be, a SuperBowl QB.

In that vein, I'm going polling. Keep the eyes peeled.
