Here is some footage shot from the stands last night...do yourself a favor and not watch from start to finish...you would think the guy has Parkensons. But at about the 3:56 mark, watch our receivers all run to Canada while Walter gets pressured. Perfect example of why Walsh needs to roll.

It actually looks to me like Zack Crockett is WIDE-ASS open as an outlet receiver pretty early in the play, and another guy comes WIDE-ASS open (LaMont Jordan, maybe?) late in the play while Walter is being pressured.

I don't know how often this happens with the offense, but this particular play is definitely a combination of both Walter and the OL's ineptitude.

I wonder if Walter's not spending too much time waiting for the long passes to develop when he could have just moved hte chains.

Sapp stepped up last night. He played hard and was totally pissed presumedly about losing. And yeah I don't think he has much use for Stevens. Having watched Stevens through his career at Washington I can pretty much vouch for the him -- he's a punk, a rapist, a drunk and yeah a "sissy".

Crockett comes open no doubt but I think the problem is Walter is waiting for the Primary and 2ndary to at least get to their point of break to see if it will be open. The routes are so long by the time he sees there is nothing, the outlet with Crockett isn't there because the pocket has collapsed and he is forced to his right. He could have hit him early and not wait for the primary or secondary to open up. But really Crockett should be rolling with AWAL not sitting there clapping his hands. You are correct that is Lamont open on the left side of the field, however AWAL is flushed to his right and you never throw back side unless it's a designed screen or if you're Brett Favre.:D

I hear you, but he's also got to feel the rush, and he has to know that he has the authority to check down when the rush is on him.

I think he feels the rush that's why he rolls right, but you would think as you stated that he could of realeased to Crockett. As he felt pressure I think he could of snuck it to Crockett or at least attempted too. It still bothers me though that we sent 3 receivers to Alaska and Canada ....Too many going too deep.

When he was at the UW he was charged with rape. Of course a smart laywer got him off but with his history of drinking and that crap and the way he's conducted himself in the NFl, you do the math on the rape charge.
