Food & Drink thread

French's yellow mustard is the only thing that belongs on a hotdog.
Do yourself a favor and get Weber's, Turk might back me on that one being a NY boy.

Ketchup sure don't belong on any frank or sausage though.

Reminds me of these hillbillies I knew that had a bottle of ketchup on the breakfast table.
Gross...

I usually have 2 or 3 mustard in the fridge. But sometimes you just need plain yellow mustard.

I do sometimes like ketchup and mustard on a corn dog though.

I'm not a savage. Don't @ me.

What fucking planet have I landed on....

Hay @Chris_77 We went to Warike in Santa Rosa tonight (Peruvian) and it was pretty good. Then they hit us with the 20% auto tip for “large parties) when there was just 7 of us and a 4% surcharge for unknown reasons. Food was good though.

Living wage surcharge probably. I've never been to Warike but I've been to their other restaurant Ayawaska, which is good. Sauzon is also pretty good for Peruvian. We'll go to the restaurant right next to Warike for drinks now and then.

A friend turned us on to some Guatemalan tamales. Different than any Mexican tamales I have had, delicious.
I could do without the olive though.

I'm sure they're made a bunch of different ways but I had some a couple of weeks ago and they were gross. Pork with some kind of red sauce that seemed more Indian than South American.

I don't like the flavor of Indian food but the textures are what really gross me out. It's just generally disgusting stuff in my experience. Respectfully.

I know the delta has its own version of the tamale. From what I can gather it seems to be made with corn meal.
Robert Johnson mentioned them and red hots.

One might think a dude from Mississippi would know something about them....
