Crying in H Mart: A Memoir: Amazon.co.uk: Zauner, Michelle: 9780525657743: Books https://share.google/TdgJK5q2WhhVUQgmqThey opened up this huge Asian supermarket in town. They have everything and at really good prices. There are aisles and aisles of condiments. Every kind of seafood imaginable, fresh or frozen.
I been wanting to try some authentic Schnitzel or whatever the hell it’s called? For realThe damage done by permitting German immigrants to come here has become endemic.

I prefer veal schnitzel with red cabbage, spaetzel, anchovies and capers.
It tastes nothing like a chicken fried steak, different meat, spices and gravy.Pounded out pork battered and fried and topped with gravy.
I'm a California boy but do love me some chicken fried steak with gravy for breakfast. So this is just that isn't it?
Caesar dressing requires anchovies and it's good as an ingredient.Never could get on board with anchovies but the rest sounds great.
Yes but no. Battered and fried. Gravy. Just slight adjustments really. It tastes nothing like a chicken fried steak, different meat, spices and gravy.
Both are good though.
Caesar dressing requires anchovies and it's good as an ingredient.
Other wise they are inedible.
Ya, remember Salsbury steak?Yes but no. Battered and fried. Gravy. Just slight adjustments really.
The caper and anchovies recipe is probably butter based since I don’t believe Germans use olive oil.
Guess my whole comment is battered and fried meat is fucking good. Whatever gravy you use.
Last summer (‘24), took the family to Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Ireland. Visited my distant cousin (my mom’s father’s brother’s older granddaughter). Last I saw her was when I was going into 8th grade and she had just graduated high school. My family took her and her younger sister to Disneyland. She lives near Lake Constance on the German side of the boarder, near the top of the Rhine River. Beautiful falls. Had some great schnitzel on that trip. And terrific beer gardens. There's German resort near me. Their schnitzel is amazing with spaetzle and red cabbage. I was eating there one night and they were having a get together for their WWII reenactment. They were not cosplaying the allied side.
