First Round Picks Since 2003: A Retrospective

Henry Ruggs should get a flaming A+ grade! (Him being in the "C" range at all is retarded to the 10th degree).

Is it better to be mediocre for us for a long time or to be instantly shitty for only a few years?

A true conundrum.

No nah. C+

D. He played a lot of games, but he was still an average to below average player when he was drafted top five to anchor the line for ten years, which is why the grade gets downgraded, and I'm probably still grading on a curve because he wasn't that good. I don't even remember any signature pancake block from him. Maybe the McFadden breakout year, but I can't call it.

Wait. Are we grading rookie years or total active years?

Rookie years are modified out if they are bad and divided by the overall slugging percentage to achieve a total grade.
Gallery had a 1-hit wonder with "Nice to be with you" in 1972

I don’t remember what board i was on at that time, but I was pumping up Fitzgerald that year and was being clowned on cause of his 40. There were plenty of people who were all aboard on the Gallery pick.

We traded a first and second round pick for Adams and traded him a year or so later for a 3rd? He didn’t do shit while here, he’s an F

He was First Team All-Pro in 2022 and led the NFL in receiving TDs (14)

Totaled 203 catches, 22 TDs, and over 2,100 receiving yards in two full seasons.

Unlike Moss, Adams produced here. His exit was messy but plays were made.

I dont think that is an A grade resume.

25 great games played for us. That would be similar to Bowers tearing his leg apart in October this year and never suiting up for us again.

C+ or I'll even allow B- (And nobody in this forum hated Davante more than me).

Fuckin true.

We have had like 9 draft picks work out so we get a little friendly with the grades.

Disclosure: the only grade I have revised so far is Bowers.

Adams will be dropped below A.
