Not sure what to think about him draft dodging. I think it's just because he wants to be with his parents and I respect that but it's not good for the NFL and their draft night.

I mean I would spend it with my family too.

He aint the celebrity "draft week" type of guy.

Its just a bullshit thing anyways. He will likely work out and throw some balls the morning before the draft.

Thats the shit that matters.

I think Joe Thomas went fishing when he got drafted and the NFL couldnt get a hold of him hahaha. Some dudes are built to put in the work and kick ass. The rest of it wont matter if he is good.

I think it sucks a little bit for the fan of the team whose guy no shows. It’s not the end of the world though. Going to GB or Pitt to not see your guy would kinda suck. Or Baltimore “Went to the draft to see my team top pick and all I got is crabs”

Yeah everyone is different.

I think I would give less than one fuck about whether the guy I wanted was on the stage to get a hug from Roger Goodell while I stood in the stands.

I could only see myself ever going if it was at a cool location I wanted to go to in the 1st place. Like Miami, Tampa, Vegas, NY maybe NashVegas or NO

I dont think Alex Leatherwood or Damon Arnette not being on the stage would have wrecked your draft night if you were there with other fans shooting the shit drinking a Zima.

I love draft years when the first pick was essentially decided in November.

I was organized to go and bucket list my draft trip pre covid and got burned by covid.

That was kinda the one year I had planned it. I want to say it was 2020 or 2022.

We probably drafted some fuck nut that woulda wrecked my entire weekend so for the best I think haha.

She went to nearly every game of his, even out in California. I’d imagine it was more about him just wanting a quiet moment with family and some of his close friends. Nothing wrong with it in my eyes.

As I said only reason I would be upset is if I went to some city like Pittsburgh and he pulled out after I spent 2k. I would never do that for that place so it’s a non factor.

If it was in Tampa or Miami I may just pass out on the couch because I spent all day out on a boat fishing.

Vegas, Miami, NY, Tampa (Ybor City) All could be fun. Although in Miami I am probably heading to The Keys and missing day 2 and 3. I absolutely love The Keys.
 
Crazy to think Covid was 6 years ago but if I recall correctly my cousin who has season tickets had priority for draft tickets in 2020. Like one of those benefits you get as a season ticket holder.

I think that year the draft "event" got fully cancelled in Vegas and it was the drunken Goodell year.

I always wanted to do it once as I grew up being such a fan of the draft but we have fucked up so many picks over my life it just doesnt hit me the same anymore haha. We could draft a one legged tranny and @Sleet would try to sell us all about how amazing the fit is for our defense.
