Sounds like the game is way inproved over last year, they added some simple little things that may just make me go out and get a 360 and make sure I have Madden 08 on the day is comes out.

Here's some bullet points.

Mid-Air Collisions: How funs is it gonna be laying to wood to Moss....
(which by the way http://sports.ign.com/articles/785/785107p1.html yuch:mad: )

Big Time Catches: One handed grabs and getting the toes in.....

Hurdles: You hurdle now they can rock you into a fumble if it is timed right...Sweet:D

Hitstick 2.0: Now you can not only drill someone you can direct the blow low or high....

Gang Tackles: Now once you tie someone up a LB can come in and clean house. That will be cool as hell.......

The Line of Scrimmage: Now your will see double team and more second level blocking not just a limeman standing there. Now poeple on offense will have to learn the game plan.

Fatigue: Something I love, I hate when my friends use Vick to run all over me and he barely gets tired. Now you run around the feild and your guy will show it, time for the substitutes....

Celabrations: New and inproved guys will do signiture stuff like the river dance, can't wait to see what Hines Ward does maybe he imitates which ever team he plays...Or Curry dunking on the goal post, or Sapp doing the J-Lo ass bounce....:rolleyes: ok maybe not that one.
 
I haven't bought the last 2 Maddens as they lacked features on 360 compared to PS2/Xbox. I hope everything is finally sorted out this year.
 
I think I'll wait another year or 2 before I buy a 360 - it's still kind of pricy
 
Another cool thing about players getting fatigued is that say your playing as NE who is use to the cold weather...and your in Miami playing the Dolphins...your Patriot players will get fatigued quicker then the Dolphins due to the hot weather that your Patriots arent use to...thats craaazy! I cant wait for this game
 
Does 08 have a fantasy draft? That is the best part and it wasnt in 07 for 360...weak.

I never was a fan of that,,,,,,

I do hope it lets you edit the other teams roster and next years Draft class, I know after the first season I will do the draft and then change all the guys names to people that would be coming out next year. Right now you can only edit your team.

I swear I spend more time editing then playing..Normally once the REAL season starts and we have about 5 people who weren't even in Madden when it came out in August. So I have to build the Madsen's of the world and try to get them a ranking.

Like right now I am building all of our drafted players and then I will build the rest of the 1st round picks and then most of the 2nd or the the impact players.


Here's a question what should I give JR for a Rank? I was thinking about a 83?
 
I gave JR a 85 overall with 84 Accuracy and 98 throwing power(if its any lower than 96-97 in 2008 madden, i say bs).

Awareness was like 55 though and i made his speed about 70. also signed Dominc Rhodes. he's been pretty crafty for me.

You know you dont have to do all of that right? Well I have the PS2 version...and theres this guy who I send my memory card to for free and he uploads 4 draft classes of real college players...so for instance...if you sent your memory card for the new madden coming out...youll have 2008,2009,2010,2011 draft classes...so that when time comes for your offseason it will say "Do you wanna upload a draft class" and you hit yes and bring the class you wanna use in...its REAL simple...and the guy ask for no money unless you wanna give him some...I have done it EVERY year since I found out about it and it makes the game waaaaaay better...imagining drafting for 7 rounds and EVERY guy being an actual college player...it makes the game so much better...let me know if you want the site and ill post it in here...he does it only for PS2,XBOX,XBOX 360 and PSP right now I think...hopefully he adds PS3 as well soon :)
 
I try to make my rosters 100% real, adjusting attributes,game play sliders etc to make it authentic...

I didnt like the create a player option in 07 for the 360, and the fact you cant adjust the players skills totally blows, IMO.

Im hoping for a big upgrade in 2008.

Can you edit players for the 360? Or are you guys talking bout the PS2?

I used to do what Masteraider did, and get a guy to upload the draftees...I do it myself now, for fun. DT Lidner is the shit.

I just have the regular XBOX version and if I create a player or any regular player I can go into the rosters and change their skill sets.

Does anyone know if someone does the draft thing for the Reg XBOX mem cards......
 
You can do the mem card thing for the 360 even, but it sucks I cant edit players to make their ratings more realistic on the 360. (Curry is a 79 and Moss is a 92 on the latest update, for example.)
 
Not being able to edit was one of the main reasons I did't get the 360 version the last 2 years. They need to get that sorted out this year.
