Both Ricky and Onterrio are filing paperwork to get back in the league... both are effective RBs... I like our current guys but I wouldn't mind paying one of these guys league min type wages to be our 3rd

I would do it....Onterrio Smith was an effective kick returner as well.

Nah, man. I wanted Onterrio badly when he came out of school, but he's done.

Ricky? He ain't going anywhere except to back up Ronnie.

I was also huge on the Onterrio bandwagon during the draft that year, and was mildly P.O.'ed that we took Fargas instead. But now? He'd be too much of a distraction at too little the payoff.

Besides, I don't want to actively bring in people to tempt Moss to up the dosage.

Ricky is a huge upgrade from any back we have on our roster and I'd be down with making a run at him, particularly since we don't appear to be going after Peterson and the weed problems may be a thing of the past.

Those scouting reports on Onterrio that pegged him as a bad seed sure turned out to be on the money.

Right now I'd take both over the riff raff that we currently have... especially if we're keeping Moss. Why limit yourself to 1 cancer, when you can invest in 3... all on the same side of the ball.

Truth be told, I've said more than once that there is no "Ricky Williams" back in this year's draft.. so the question has to be asked.. why not pick up the genuine article on the cheap? The guy can clearly ball at the NFL level still, as evidenced by his solid backup numbers in Miami. Plus, by getting his hand injured last year in Canuckistan, he didn't pick up any added mileage on his body, either. He was never really a cancer on his team, so I think that argument is a little weak. The guy just likes his magic cigarettes. Hopefully, Randy can clue him in on how to do that shit in the offseason and clean up during the regular season.

Not like it's going to happen anyway.. but I wouldn't mind it.
