In this scenario (far fetched, perhaps, but no matter) the following trades occur:

1) Randy Moss to GB for their #2 (47)

2) Raiders send #1 to T.B. for their 1 (4), 2 (35) and 2008 1st

3) Raiders package 2 (33), 2 (35) and 2 (47) to Arizona for 1 (5)

The Raiders have 1 (4), 1 (5), 3 (65) and 3 comp (~98)

Draft goes as follows:

1) T.B. - Calvin Johnson

2) Detroit - Joe Thomas

3) Cleveland - JaMarcus Russell

4) Oakland - ?????

5) Oakland - ?????

This lands right about in the likelihood of my wife arranging a threesome between me, Meagan Good and Jessica Alba, but I'll play...

Draft goes as follows:

1) T.B. - Calvin Johnson

2) Detroit - Joe Thomas

3) Cleveland - JaMarcus Russell

4) Oakland - Brady Quinn

5) Oakland - Adrian Peterson

65) Oakland - Doug Free (OT)

.Comp 3) Oakland - Marcus Thomas (DT)

1a - Adrain Petersen RB OU

1b - Alan Branch DT Mich.

3a - Kyle Young C Fresno St.

3comp - Aundrae Allison WR E. Carolina

These are fun.

1a: Peterson RB-Okl.
1b: Quinn QB-ND

We've now set ourselves up with two cornerstone pieces of the franchise.

3a: Zach Miller TE-ASU

4.85 or 4.58 means dick squat to me. He can block, run routes and catch a football.

3comp: Akaika Alama-Francis. DE Hawaii

He's the same size as Brayton (6-5 280 ish) yet he's actually athletic enough to get a few sacks and play the run well.

Any scenario that nets the Raiders Brady Quinn and Adrian Peterson or Alan Branch works for me.

In fact any combination of those three would be a red letter day.

First, there is no way in hell that we end up with #4 and #5 overall.

Second, if we did and that's the way the draft fell, we'd have to take Peterson and Quinn. And, given that the rumor is that Kiffin is installing a Grudenesque offense, I wouldn't be particularly against Quinn at that point.

That scenario is very far fetched, but the only way it could work is if we gave all three of our second rounders and both future number 1's we would have in the following season...

With those first rounders being Tampa and Oakland, I would think we would have 2 top 10-15 picks in 08.

Just having fun here:

What if we kept ALL of those picks?

1.4 Adrian Peterson
2.33 Sidney Rice
2.35 Drew Stanton
2.47 Tony Ugoh
3.65 Zach Miller
3.comp Alama Francis-Kyle Young-Marcus Thomas-WHOEVER.

Is Brady Quinn worth Drew Stanton. Sidney Rice, and Tony Ugoh?
