This guy was signed to Louisville as a 15 year old...

He was a four year starter, who will turn 20 when he is in the NFL. Do the math on that...He was playing NCAA ball as a 16 year old.

This guy tested into the twelfth grade at 12 years old...

He is the epitome of a player with unlimited potential, and he also is a high character, smart player.

My prediction:

He goes top 8. and competes with Alan Branch for top DT.

We need to trade down this year!

I'm a huge fan of Akoye's. I was hoping that his height (he's only 6'1")would push him down to the late-1st or early-2nd, but it's looking like he'll definitely be top-15. Great attitude and he's still learning the position even though he played as a true freshman at age 16. He's really stout against the run and has a better motor than Branch, IMO. If this kid was 6'4" or 6'5", he'd be the top defensive prospect in the draft and probably a top-3 pick.

The weigh in's were today on the NFLN.

He showed up at a ripped 6-2 287, at 19 years old.

The scouts on the senior bowl practice have him rated as the third DT, but I think that'll change.

They say he can play a 3-technique or a 5-technique in the pros (DE in a 3-4) which will increase his stock.

Showed a sick little spin move at Senior Bowl practices. They were talking him up.

Don't see him being on our radar, though, I think he's gone well before our #2.

My bold prediction still holds.

This guy is 19...
