BTW, the Saints, as I expected look vastly overated. I think they have a big come down this year. Then again, the Colts look like a damn good team.
I agree. I'm thinking that in spite of all the Saints hype they aren't all that good. Reggie Bush looks pedestrian. He looks really small. Exciting but probably not all that in the pros.BTW, the Saints, as I expected look vastly overated. I think they have a big come down this year. Then again, the Colts look like a damn good team.

The Saints aren't going to catch anybody by surprise this season.
He seems like a much bigger threat catching the rock, ala that dude that played HB, WR and KR for the Browns (and the Raiders briefly) some years ago. What the F*&K was his name?????
I hope our defense plays as "badly" against the run as the Colts defense has the last few games dating back to the last years playoffs.![]()
Eric Metcalf?
Anyways, I actually thought Reggie looked pretty good.
*shrug*
Greg Pruitt. What the F*&K was his name?????
To be honest, that was my exact concern. Someone somewhere said we can man up with their top two, and I agree, but they will bring out 3WR very often.Frankly, I'm more worried about who is going to cover the slot receiver in all the three wide packages Martz runs than I am about who is going to play QB for us... That freakin Mike Furrey is a little pain in the ass...
Is Carr still the nickle or is it Routt who has missed most of the preseason?...
That Martz offense generally craps out if you can disrupt the timing by getting to the QB early so hopefully Sapp and Burgess are on their game...
You pay for food? I get mine free.I know.
Though I litteraly stopped watching ALL TV about 18 months ago. Even last year I watched games at Sports bars, online (crappy quality) or listened to the radio. I've decided to watch them on TV this year at home (yes, I plugged in the basic cable about 3 weeks ago), but paying for TV doesn't jibe well with my "minimalist" existense.
By minimalist, I mean the 3 neccesities of course: Roof over my head, car and pu**y.![]()
Oh yeah, and food.

I think our first way of handling it will be the big nickle 4-2-5 with Ward handling the SS duties and Huff in coverage. I don't know if that makes me too happy about our coverage, but we'll have to cover our asses against the run, and if we go with Carr we're certain to see a heavy dose of running on early downs. We can swap Carr for Ward on 3rd and long.
Personally, I think Routt is going to have to work into game shape. He might even be inactive Sunday, regardless of how sphincter tightening it is to think that Chris Johnson could get some reps.

I told you it was Greg Pruitt. Fuck a buncha Eric Metcalf. He seems like a much bigger threat catching the rock, ala that dude that played HB, WR and KR for the Browns (and the Raiders briefly) some years ago. What the F*&K was his name?????

But not for the Raiders!Metcalf played for Cleveland too.
