Mendoza on if he would join Indiana on its visit to the White House on May 11, also the first day of #Raiders OTAs: “I gotta prove myself. I can’t miss practice. …As a rookie, I don’t think that’s a good look. I’m trying to best serve my teammates, and I don't know if that'd be accomplishing that goal.”

NFL tried to get him to change his mind, doubt White House will have any more luck. Better change the date if you want Mendoza to come.

If you think its just about the date...

Well more power to you.

Kids building a brand. He won't sully it by having any show of political leanings until its something he cares about. And this white house is always partisan politically.

I'm as MAGA as it gets and I have no interest in Nerdoza going to the White House.

It's a trip that Trump lives surrounded by absurdly oppulent decor, and apparently loves the Big Mac, puts ketchup on his well done steak and dances to The YMCA.. :chuckle:

Don’t think it’s political. Not doing what National Champions do is more political than doing what typically occurs. Mendoza seems pretty a-political, to me.

Also, he’s Cuban and from Florida. Cubans vote conservative, are anti-socialist, and voted in a landslide for Trump.

Rubio’s support, alone, could get him to the White House. Heck, both sets of his grand parents would show up in a heart beat.

When communism dies in Cuba, bet he’ll support that. Venezuelans and Iranians support Trump. Weird how people project their echo chamber beliefs onto them. Lol

And has kids that don’t hate him, are productive members of society, and are not public whack jobs.
