Congratulations to Shane Lechler for setting the single season net yards per punt record. Dudes been great throughout his career. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. Crazy that he beat Lee by one-tenth of a yard.

Oakland's Shane Lechler set a single-season record for net punting. Lechler averaged 41.1 net yards per punt, narrowly edging San Francisco's Andy Lee at 41.0. The previous record was 39.9 by Mike Horan of the New York Giants in 1993.
