COMPLETELY non-political COMPLETELY random thoughts

Coyote is one of them words that has multiple pronunciations probably due to local vernacular more than anything else.
I think the word came from the Aztec language, and I have no idea how they pronounced it.

I find it interesting that coyotes can outrun greyhounds if they get on ice (frozen lake or river).
I suspect it's because of more fur between their paws but I'm not sure.

How's that for random?

Nothing pisses me off more than a thief.

I did a lot of work back in the day with a McColloch. I think that was the dude that bought the London Bridge and sold the company to Black and Decker another American company that went to shit.

I'm packing crosscuts in my trucks tool box these days but I'm not cutting cords of wood to heat my home with them.
I enjoy tuning them back up and using them for occasional deadfall across the road or buck up some firewood for camp.
Another friend of mine had one if them old heavy ass McCollochs...lol. That thing was a beast.
I'm like you now. Use em on my property or to cut my way past deadfalls. Not that I could ever survive a wildfire. When a city like Petaluma, Grizzly Flat or Paradise gets burned to the ground, it's obvious mother nature's gonna win! That shit will just crown through every tree on my and the surrounding property!
I heat with a pellet stove now. I just had two ton deliveted last week...lol.

Speaking of Cornell. Those guys are fucked. Governor is getting involved and replaced the local DA with the state AG who is super political and has higher political aspirations.

A rare papal W.

Pope Leo XIV
@Pontifex
In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Shut up my Pope.

Stay in your lane.
