That people claiming to be liberals today are often more preachy and judgmental than those who you say claim are Christian.

Humans are hypocritical. Go figure.

Yet, a premise of your post was that our GM and HC are too stupid to discern the difference—exposing your POV.

Would not put anything past agents, who are now signing kids in HS and steering them to the pros. I don’t doubt Kubiak’s sincerity, however, or his ability to see through a charade.

Someone else posted that our former GM was making drafting Christians a priority I made no statements about our GM or coach. Try and keep up.
You did dispute what I said because you said you call bullshit.
I don't really give a shit to carry this on. I think most people here got my point and it doesn't disparage Christianity at all. Whether you are Christian or not isn't a good barometer of you being a good person or not is my point and I'm sticking to it.

Well, anyone can certainly improve themself by walking the walk. If you think otherwise, you’re ignorant of Christ’s acts and teachings—which was my point that you avoided and continue to avoid.

That you want to feel good about morality without Christ, I’m asking you to rethink. I disagree with such equivalence, and not because others can’t be as or more moral than “Christians.”

People get offended by the use/misuse of pronouns. Some understand, some give grace even if they disagree, some don’t care and offend, some don’t realize they are being ignorant or offensive (IMO to their own detriment).

You been paying attention to high school and college football culture? Going to church is a foundation of most of these programs. It's ingrained in recruiting and a lot of high school teams, especially in the South. So nobody is checking a box. It's what they've been raised in. Their hypocrisy is no different than the other run of the mill church people they're attending with who are doing all kinds of immoral things that are in the good book. I think that's DK's point. There are people who are living by the teachings of their religion, but there are a whole lot more of them who are full of shit and use it as a get out of jail free card for any and everything they do that they know is wrong before they do it. I've prayed on getting caught with these hoes. God forgave me. Fuck out of here. Jed is going to show up with his Bible in the next few months.

I'm not ignorant of anything and you never made that point. I'm not religious and didn't grow up with any religion but I have studied all of the major ones.
I don't need any religion, Christian or other, to act with a correct moral compass. Actually that you think I need it is quite offensive.

One’s relationship with God is personal. Don’t let others or a perception of others affect your journey. You want to find good people walking the walk, it’s not hard. They are at every church. I don’t know the percentages or level of hypocrisy, but hypocrisy is not unique to religion. It’s a human condition and most notable in politics or things that get political.
