Oh joy. Have fun?

Took a friend of mine to the ER the other day. They kept her and gave her a heart cath the next day because her enzymes were out of control. 100% blockage in one artery or something. She's been to the ER at least a dozen times over the past year or so, convinced there was something wrong. Scans always came back clean. The enzyme thing has been there all along, but they dismissed it as being due to her high blood pressure. Finally got with a doctor willing to go the extra mile rather than shrug and move on when the scans didn't show anything. Probably saved her life.

Moral of the story: We give doctors way too much benefit of the doubt. Anything serious enough to see a doctor about is serious enough to get a second or third opinion. Went through this same shit with my dad and my grandmother. Never mistake a doctor's apathy for a clean bill of health.
Yeah I had to pound the table to get this colonoscopy scheduled actually. I had one at 50 and they said to have one every 5 years because I had polyps. Dr didn't want to give me one but got him to do it after some complaining. You definitely need to take your health into your own hands and make sure they are being thorough. I had an MRI once on my knee, I pretty much knew I had a torn meniscus. Dr comes in and tells me my knee is shredded... I'm like no way that's possible. Looks at the chart again and say oh, yeah you are right I don't know why they put that note there.

Man's got jokes. I respect it.

Trump: "One of the things I talked to [Putin] about was, 'Where would you want to meet?' And he said, 'Ideally in Moscow.' I said, 'You're not going to meet in Moscow.'…Would you go to Moscow?"

Zelensky: "It's difficult. There are a lot of Ukrainian drones there."

You aint lying bro. If i didnt pay enough attention to my own shit and insist something wasnt right they never would have found the mass on my kidney and realized i had renal cancer.

Its gone now since the end of Jan thankfully but was still a worrisome time.

He was a comedic actor I think before becoming a politician.

I have the same issue with the polyps and they want me to have one done every year now. I’m surprised they wanted you to wait every five years.
