Coach Kiffins Interview From ESPN (Audio)

He was just on Sirius NFL net as well, Listen to a replay right now.....

Cliff notes please?

ONE MAJOR NOTE ....
He did say that there are some young guys on the LINE now, that maybe weren't in the positions they should be in. So they are addressing that.

Nothing really said here......basically talked about the fact that they have a couple a of guys that warrant the top pick (like he would say who they were picking).
HE did say something that kind of sparked my interest.
HE when they were talking about having the number one overall "They are a few guys that can put up points on the board at the top of this draft"
(sounds like we are looking at a playmaker, not a defense player or a O-linemen)

Also stated that we can do a couple of things like trading and or staying put and collecting some more picks......

He also Stated "there are a couple of guys that spark our interest."

Sounded good but nothing of real interested.

Did you buy the comment he made about Randy Moss?

Not for a single second.

I still think they will try hard to move Moss and get picks. The GB idea, if it has any validity at all, seems to be a great deal for the Raiders. I'd do it in a heart beat.

Thats the exact feeling I got out of it. Kiffen just seemed very confident answering all the questions up until the Moss question.. then his face changed, his manarisms changed and he quickly responded what sounded to me like a canned statement with no in depth info. Then the interview went on and he was confident again... guess you have to see it to see what I mean lol

Just for the cap room alone. That would be enough space to pay a top tier free agent lineman bank. A rookie isnt going to lead this group and Gallery needs to lead himself. Stienbach is going to be hard to get, but he makes the most sense other than Dielman. A LG to help Gallery is going ot be key. A rookie wont do much to aid Gallery and Grove.
