Yes. Bo didn’t want to play for Tampa Bay so he went to the Royals instead.
Al was smart enough to use a flyer on Bo by taking him in round 7, despite Bo going to the Royals.
Then Al convinced Bo he could play two sports and was willing to sign Bo for 7 games of work plus post season if the Raiders made it.
I remember that playoff game in Los Angeles against Cincinnati when Bo got hurt. Didn't look like anything but it was ovah. We all just didn't expect that ending.

Damn shame. :(

Like two wrecking balls slamming into each other.
Jack was one bad motherfucker on the football field. But...

I did talk to Jack on the phone one year when I was trying to recruit him to come to our Raiders party at Ricky's in San Leoandro. Some of you guys might remember that trip we took ... The Journey to the House of Thrills. His wife answered the phone and I asked to talk to Jack and she got him to come to the phone. He was the nicest guy ever. Said he'd like to come but wasn't up to it and I don't remember what was wrong at that time. But anyway it was great to be able to speak with the great Jack Tatum. Always a memory for me.

I remember Bones raving about the food at Ricky's

No it didn’t. It looked like a routine tackle. Turns out it wasn’t routine after all.

Pulled his hip out of the socket iirc.

Apparently a nothing burger with the medical treatment available today.

Nothing like living in the past.

Marc Wilson to Dokie Williams... :woot:
