Looks pretty good. My statement was kinda hyperbolic as there are some good places here, but nothing compared to CA, AZ, and Nevada

I moved from Omaha which has great Mexican food because all of the meat packing industries employ illegals to NY where every Mexican restaurant serves plain label "Mexican" and it is all overpriced. We did recently get a taqueria in my town which is better than most but it's not a high bar. Subpar BBQ. Subpar Mexican. Ugh.

I went to Macon Georgia for work about 4 years back. There was this Mexican restaurant by our hotel room called Margaritas I think? Or some shit, that place was probably one of the top 5 Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. Fucking real deal bro. We ordered guacamole dip annd chips and the lady came out and made it from scratch in the Molcajete bowl right at our table. Fucking fire. Honestly, if that place was here in Phoenix, it would be a top 3 restaurant. I got no idea why it’s way tf out there lol!

Owners Must be transplants lol . There’s a taco spot here that is straight fire. Owners are from L.A.
