Mario Manningham is looking very dynamic in the Mich game. Fast, agile and a ton of burst.

McFadden is running well, even though they key on him every play.

Jake Long is solid as a rock.

Havent caught any of Chris Long yet...
 
I missed the early games...


Long looks like he always does... He really reminds me of Grant Wistrom when he was with that Blackshirt D in Nebraska...


I'm most interested in seeing what our future defensive coordinator does with USC's defense today... I seriously doubt he makes it to our 2nd pick IF he comes out, but man would I love to see LB Rey Maualuga in a Raider jersey... He's got the feet to play on the strongside IMO... That guy just crushes people...
 
Crable is definitely as advertised. The dude is 6-5 250 and I would be willing to wager he runs a 4.5-4.6

He could be a viable option for us, if we go a new orute on defence.

Percy Harvin is a WEOPON too though. Holy smokes.
 
I told you guys Michigan had some ballers. J.Long is a man beast. Manningham would be sweet in Rnd 2 as would Crable. Henne will have a job in the NFl for 10 years. Back-up style. Mike Hart is going to stick in the NFl as a money back-up also.
 
Sed Ellis isn't getting a whole lot of penetration so far but he got a pass deflect...

My man Rey Rey got a pick... Brian Cushing is going to be a star if he can ever stay healthy...

Rashad Mendenhall runs hard and physical...
 
Ellis is doing his best impression of the invisible man out there...

Meanwhile guys like Rivers, Cushing and Maluaga are tearing it up.
 
Maluaga is a beast. Sed Ellis thus far having a very pedestrian-like game.

He's the the main reason that defense is where its at..

They are chop blocking and double teaming him and he's still getting the upper hand on the OL

To be fair to Ellis, I think they have him more in a read spot today because of the threat of the option..

You really think that defense revolves around Ellis?

Not his fellow DT, Moala, or his all american linebackers?

Or the DE beside him who is essentially a top 35 pick in the next April's draft...

I think Ellis a key component, but they were doing amazing in the first half with Maluaga, Rivers and Jackson making the plays.

Im assuming you don't have it on your TV...

He rarely has been in the backfield today and the Illini line is handling him one on one with relative ease.

Im not sold yet.

Hopefully Dorsey explodes in his big game and makes our job much easier, instead of dissapearing.

The few snaps I caught of C-Long today, he was all over the field. 3-4 batted balls, consistent pressure...
 
He just had a great play, so I'll hold my breath for a bit.

Near sack on Juice a minute ago.

Someone sell him for me, cuz Im looking for more, I guess.

I liked what I saw from Long today. No sacks but 5 hurries. Gets doubled alot.

Local channels are an issue me and DirecTV continue to argue about.

Ellis, to me, has always been the consolation prize if we missed out on the top 4 or 5 guys. Evidently, that's no longer a concern.

Doesn't mean I like him any less. But since we're picking at 3/4, he's not really a guy I'm keying on anymore.

Long, even when his stats are minimal, looks like a tiger on a chain. Even if he doesn't get a paw on you, you can feel his breath on the back of your neck.

My whole argument against Ellis was with our draft position and his value. He's a good player, just not a top 5 talent, IMO.

And Chris Long was excellent, although I only watched the second half. There was a 3-5 play series where he had a big piece of turf stuck in his helmet, and made every play in succession...Batted balls, pressure, the tackle.

I was impressed when I saw how Viriginia used him. Moved him all over the line, stood up on some plays, dropped back a bit etc. He's the real deal.

Im excited to see Gholston and Dorsey though...
 
Dorsey's had a little time to heal up. I hope he's near 100% for the national championship. Dude's a different animal when he's not dinged up.
