In the tradition of Roberta Gallery avatar promoting actual LT improvement over the last few weeks.. I'm going with the "winless" avatar heading into Bronco week. It stays until we win a frigging game, for the love of God.

I'm hoping for some Ronald Curry mile-high fireworks one more time. I can bear a 2-15 season as long as the Broncos are the two.

I can dream, can't I?

Stranger things have happened .. we were 2 - 4 when we played them in 1997 and we won the game and handed Denver their first loss of the season ...

So you never know.

Plus, division games can always, always, ALWAYS go either way.

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of Rod Woodson 98 yard pick 6 of Griese on MNF to stop our 4 game losing streak and turn our season around in '02, but that'll work....

Yeah we suck... Yeah we haven't won a game since Bones' last prostrate exam... Yeah most Raider fans want to implement some ancient Apache torture method on Tom Walsh, but this is still Bronco week dammit.... and there's nothing I hate more than the snaggle toothed, pug nosed, thighs rubbing together, Frito smelling, stained tighty whitey wearing Donk fan base except the snaggle toothed, pug nosed, thighs rubbing together, Frito smelling, stained tighty whitey wearing Chief fan base....

THIS IS STILL THE BEST GAME INTRO I'VE EVER SEEN...

LOL

Quality.

Pfft. Apaches didn't torture people. They sacrificed them outright.

Silly Island Boy.

The best ever.

Stick it on in the locker room Sunday and we shouldn't have to worry about everybody being motivated.

I've seen it in cowboy movies and cowboy movies would never lie... Sure the Indians were whiteguys covered with bad orange colored dye, but still.... Don't make me go all Samuel Jackson on you...

I've had it with all these mutha fuggin' orange painted white guys in my mutha fuggin' cowboy movie!

Also, if we go 2-15, we'll go into the record books for more than one reason.

No doubt! 17 games indeed. Did we get bounced in the wildcard game or did we win our division?

It is a great intro indeed, but it looks now like they are flying the skies while were fallen angels. Our Raiders need more than motivation to win this game.

Art Shell was excellent against Denver during his first tenure. If Marty can maintain success against us, why can't Art against Denver? I'm really curious to see how prepared the team is against Denver. They WILL get up for this game, right?

I sure hope so. That was my biggest complaint about Turner. The team never looked like they could get motivated for any opposing team. There was a lack of fire there.

:O

Hope so. It sure would be sweet to stick it to the Broncos in their house.

Was it that Art was excellent or was Denver just that bad? I was to busy getting drunk and chasing chicks to pay attention last time around.

At any rate- failing to get this team up for a prime time game against Denver will prove that Art can't coach in this division IMO. I'm not saying we have to win... but I expect us to give Denver all they can handle.

No doubt. The Raiders better go down scrappin' like a wild cat and take a few donks with them. That is almost more important than actually winning the game for me.

That's what it is all about for me. I expected to lose our fair share of games this season. I can live with that. However, I also expected a mean, hungry team that leaves it all on the field and this is where Art has disapointed me. Where are the junkyard dogs I was promised?

I think the defense has pretty much done what you say but now I think even they are getting worn out. They're thinking WTF and I think that is ponly natural seeing what they are seeing game in and game out.

Pure and simple the offense needs to step up and score 28 points.
