Gets his shot as HC (likely). Former LB that coached our LBs but also is tied strongly to Maxx.

As a player he was solid but not spectacular ilb for the skins and giants.

Coached at Arizona for a few years before joining us last year.

Honestly i dont have a huge bio on him. Seems like a well liked coach

Maybe. But maybe not. He's done more in the league and as a coach than John Madden had done. Yes, midseason hires are different -- they're harder. Not your guys, not your system, not your coaches, but you work with what's in place. Let;s just say we get to the playoffs and win a game -- you gotta consider keeping him.

No high, just glad to see him out of the mix. But accepting just getting rid of this scumbag we should’ve never hired isn’t enough. Needs to be a better effort to find organizational pieces.

Also I realize now that Howie Long, Rich Gannon, and several former players probably contacted Davis about how awful this guy looked and how bad his qb’s were.
 
If it's Pierce as interim, Graham might as well start packing his bags tonight.

He was as good as gone anyway with a new staff coming in, but not being handed the interim role and a chance to prove that he can be a HC ? You're going with a LB coach instead of the DC ???

That's a swift kick in the ass.

Maybe he didn't want it? I just want to know who's going to be calling the plays on offense?
 
I just read Pierce’s coaching bio. His only stint as a HC was as coach of powerhouse Long Beach Polytechnic High’s football team. He promptly destroyed them. He scares me.

Just hope that who ever is calling the plays scraps the entire McDumbass play book. :D

Sun Devil fans would kill you. He was here in Tempe at Arizona State with Herm, not down south at Arizona, lol. One thing, he'll hide the burner for you if you shoot yourself in the leg, word to Plaxico. He's a much clearer communicator than McDaniels mush mouth. So that should improve at least. I think he was Herm's DC too. I can't see him being a serious contender for keeping the job, but somebody had to do it, and at least he's getting a shot.
