OK so I'm still feeling the blow of realizing this team still has a long way to go. This is the start of the 2nd half of the season. If Kiff can start to show me something (and Rob Ryan I'm fingering you out even moreso) then we'll know where we are going from here. Most of us are already looking to the offseason. Fuck a whole bunch of that shit. We've got 8 games left to leave a mark on this season. Playoffs are gone but we can damn well beat some decent fucking teams. Get some playing time for Bush and Russell. And know where the fuck we are going next year.

Bears have a D... I don't expect our O to do much... Running the ball will be a big test and its something I feel we can do. Huggy you da man today. Less penalties on Offense is a must. Robert Gallery and Barry Sims are 2 of the highest penalized players in the NFL this year. That must stop.

On D we face a bears team that is looking aweful on O. Benson is looking like a waste of a 1st round pick (i was such a big fan of his as well...). Grieseball still sucks at QB but is Collins like in that he can still put up a decent yardage total. They have very few passing game weapons but Berrian is a big play threat and Olsen and Desmond are decent TEs and they like to use both. Big game for our secondary/LBs is a must. And if our DL can step it up 10 notches I'll have some hope for next year.

STs is all about Devin Hester and not letting him destroy us... I'm putting this on 2 of the best legs in the game. Don't let us down guys.
 
This is a GIGANTIC game as far as this season is concerned.
We lose it and I seriously see us finishing 2-14 or maybe 3-13.
The players won't say it, but Kiffin will have lost the team, IMO.

5 straight losses, and the last 2 to POOR teams, AT HOME.
That's what it'll be.

After the Miami game this team looked to be on the rise.
Since then they've gradually gotten worse.
The Texan game was a flat out embarassment.
Almost had an Art Shell feel to it.

Kiffin??

At some point it's reasonable to expect something more than moral (we are improving) victories.


If we win this game the team stays 'interested' and folks will still be selling out and buying into Kiff's program.

I don't even want to think about how fugly it's gonna be if we lose this game.


Btw, A. Peterson is gonna carve us the fuck up next week.

If he doesn't drop at least 200 on us it'll be the greatest upset in league history.
 
This game is going to be decided on a big play. Hopefully it will be us making it and not Devon Hester....

As long as McClown is under center, I don't think we win another game this year. Hester breaks one and our run defense allows Cedric Benson to morph into LT for a day.

Some day the Raiders will control their mistakes rate. If they manage to avoid easy gifts to Chicago, the game can be close. It's not like it will be a SD like experience, but it's still a better team. In some way the cubs are like we were supposed to be: a defence carrying an offence. And through mid season were now in similar positions: the offence is a shame, and the defence is on its knees.

These can be the worst games to watch, inept ofences face to face for an hour of futility.
 
Our most realistic hope is the Superbowl hangover effect. We know very well when it gots you, makes you play like shit. They may be still very well under the influence.
 
Getting Warren back is going to make a big difference for our D in my opinion.... I fully anticipate/hope/pray the Bears pass rush knocks the teacher's pet out for the rest of the season. DC comes in and Kiffin hands the ball off for the rest of the game.............

The Raiders will blow a second half lead and find a way to lose. I know, way to go out on a limb.

Chicago's got the injury plague. Vasher sat out practice all week. Starting G Ruben Brown's out.

In contrast, we're getting Gerard Warren back.
 
Tommie Harris is playing, but should be limited...which means he'll singlehandedly destroy our hopes and dreams while raping our cattle.

Did you see South Park diss Jay Cutler. Stan and Kyle go to a sex & coke party after becoming famous from Guitar Hero 3. They see Jay Cutler at the party and are like " Jay Cutler! You suck but my dad says you might be good one day" Funnest shit ever. I know they are Bronco's fans but South Park is the shit.

They sure babysat him after Green went down last year... I don't know if you can compare the situation of a second year QB who has the benefit of two years of preseason games and is two years into their playbook to a rookie who held out and didn't even get a single preseason snap...
