Hell yeah. It feels good to know our defense isnt going to get pushed around like a bunch of bitches. Hopefully we can say the same for the offense sometime soon.
 
Or we dont have to worry about which super fast DB is the talk of the combine?

In '03 we knew that a guy like Aso, Woolfolk, Mathis or Tillman would probably be the pick...

In '04 it wouldnt have suprised anyone to see a trade down and for us to have picked up Hall or Robinson. Hell Stuart Schweigert caught our eye when he ran a sub 4.4 at the combine...

In '05...Well lets just say if it wasnt Fabs Washington and Routt, it could have been Justin Miller and Marlin Jackson.

In '06...Was anyone shocked at the Huff selection?

I'd say the defence is a couple of lineman away from being real good. That feels really cool.
 
I think they are a plugger type at DT away from being real good. Tommy Kelly is much better at DE than Brayton. Much better and if Huntley continues to progress, we might have a 6-8 sack b/u rush end. The secondary & LB'er corps wil continue to get better with experience.

One big body that can occupy 2 offensive lineman away. That's all we need IMO.
 
its good not to talk DE, LB and secondary like they are going out of style

we could use talent at the positions but its far from "need" at this point.

and yes that feels good

i just wish we felt the same about OL and QB
