Please don't. You're right on point.I'll just STFU at this point.

Not a good comparison. You don't have to EARN a lottery payout. You're not getting the payout in advance in exchange for a lot of hard work, sweat and blood.
This is not a windfall for JR. It's a payment in return for services not yet rendered.
BIG DIFFERENCE.
Tell JR not to be a walking talking cliche and we'll reconsider our respective positions.Let's not get too cliche, fellas.
If you can't stay on top of your game endorsements evaporate.
ENDORSEMENT MONEY
Work, yes. Hard work, no.
But there is no direct correlation between spending your endorsement money and your game evaporating. If you can't stay on top of your game endorsements evaporate.
It's one of the few direct correlations one can point out in this world.
LeBron James and His "on-loan" pre-draft Hummer revealed horrible character flaws that have continued to plague him and undercut his level of professional play.
Right.
Having taught in Hunter's Point and SF Juvenile Hall (YGC), as a "white guy" I understand a little bit about this culture. JR has lived without while his school and those associated with his ability have made a lot of money. By rule, he couldn't have any. Now it's getting close and he knows it and he wants some.
Let me ask this of ya'll. If you won the lottery today ($30 million let's say) but weren't going to see your first check for a few days (when JR's endorsements will start to flow) would you live your life as a normal person until your check showed up, or might you go out and enjoy a little free-time and spending in anticipation of the windfall?
I'd be on a vacation I couldn't afford with my family, eating at nice restaurants and each of my little girls would be picking out their ponies.
Still Bling - just my bling.
Oh, and PS, Quinn has 2 Hummers H2 already.
Never said there was.But there is no direct correlation between spending your endorsement money and your game evaporating.
And as soon as JR proves he's A-numero-uno in the football world, I'll be nice and comfortable with anything he wants to do. If he takes us to the promised land he can pork Dennis Rodman in the ass while wearing jewelry made from human teeth for all I care.I'm sure Tiger Woods hasn't buried all of his endorsement dollars in mason jars. I'd imagine he's spent a good deal of it... and he's still A-numero-uno in the golf world.

Russell won the "bling" award. He had a massive silver watch, a big silver ring, and silver trim on sides of his black sunglasses. This is what he had to say about what else a team would get from him beyond his much-publicized arm strength: "I'm a very intelligent guy. I'm a great competitor. I'm very reliable on the field. I'm an unselfish person. I'm a great teammate. And I have a good personality."
Rumor has it that Cleveland would love to land at #1 and would give up #3 and Braylon Edwards...
Oh, but let me remind you all that this is an INTERNET RUMOR so don't go crazy about it.
Come on, let's step back.
Any hardcore JRuss supporters concerned about this? No.
Any CJ-backers upset about this? Yes.
If I wanted CJ over JRuss, I might make fun of him too, and call him fat. I don't think I'd have a problem with the jewelry, tho, because I have a TV and have been paying attention since Deion Sanders entered the league.
Everyone has chosen their guy, and now it's "look for pimples on the other guy."
His sunglasses? For cryin' out loud.
That's a WHOLE LOT OF "I's" in there from Ol' Leon............
I smell a HUGE RAT!!!!!!!
Um, the question was, what will a team get from you, besides athleticism?
What pronoun should he use (and Not going 3rd person on us)?
I'd be much more worried had he said:
We're a very intelligent guy. Us is a great competitor. You are very reliable on the field. She's an unselfish person. It's a great teammate. And he have a good personality.
