Aldon Smith deceased...

Bud and Jim were a couple of drinking buddy bikers.
They worked as aircraft mechanics in Dallas, TX.

One day the airport was fogged in.
They were stuck in the hangar with nothing to do.

Bud says,
"Man, I wish we had something to drink!"

Jim says,
"Me too. Y'know, I've heard you can drink jet fuel and get a buzz.
You wanna try it?"

They pour themselves a couple of glasses of high octane hootch
and got completely smashed.

The next morning Bud woke up and was surprised at how good he felt.
In fact he felt GREAT! NO hangover! NO bad side effects. Nothing.

The phone rings. It's Jim.
Jim says, "Hey, how do you feel this morning?"

Bud says, "I feel great. How about you?"

Jim says, "I feel great, too. You don't have a hangover?"

Bud says,
"No that jet fuel is great stuff -- no hangover, nothing.
We ought to do this more often."

Jim says, "Yeah, well there's just one thing."

Bud asks, "What's that?"

Jim asks, "Have you farted yet?"

Bud says, "No."

Jim says, "Well, DON'T, 'cause I'm in Denver ."

Holy chit. RIP

Just read that, wow, 36, I know money and fame doesn't help and sometimes it hinders a person, such a shame people can't get the help they probably need.

Aldon Smith had 38 sacks in his first 35 games for the #49ers. The only player with more in his first 35 games since sacks became official in 1982 was Reggie White with 41 #RIP

Seeing how he lived, this seemed inevitable. Very talented pass rusher, but he couldn't figure out everything else.

When it comes to cte, I don’t agree with trying to place blame on anybody. Ask 100 people from any walk of life if they’d be willing to be an NFL star with the risk of cte being what it is, all 100 would say yes in an instant. We’re no closer to coming up with a treatment for this than we were 10 years ago. All we can do is concede that’s he’s better off on the other side.

Natural causes? 🧐

Unfortunately, brothers' bodies crash out early when they don't take care of themselves. Twenty years of drugging, drinking, and sleep deprivation, not to mention the NFL stuff on top will exacerbate underlying conditions. They'll probably discover he had an enlarged heart or something when they do the autopsy if drugs weren't involved.
