AP ran a 4.38 and an un-official clocking of 4.33. That is going to give Kiffin and Al something to think about. M.Lynch hurt his stock with a 4.52 and a 4.49. He was suppose to run a sub 4.40 and failed to do so. This makes things interesting huh?

hes my #2 right now. it goes CJ, AP, Thomas, JRuss, Branch for me right now... and id be somewhat disappointed if we get branch.

We are either dealing this pick or taking CJ. I think you can bank on that.

I think its CJ, AP, JR and then it drops off. We need a QB and a RB. I still believe in A.Walter and think we could select a surefire franchise RB who will help our Defense stay off the field. We could get a running game going and keep our QB's from getting murdered. A 4th for Carr would make me happy. Dump lamont and trade Moss for a second.

God dang!

It looks like we'll have our choice of fillin needs with elite players... feels good!

I'm ok with not taking a QB, but if we go that route I wanna throw Carr or someone similar into the mix at QB.

Joe Thomas had an amazing workout, too.

Yeah, I still have Gallery'itis. And It was almost gone until i heard J.Thomas's knock was short arms

I think Branch, Adams/Anderson and JT and BQ are just outside of that group. Hell Id even throw in Okoye and Landry (S from LSU).

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....

:D If we have t-rex on one side then we need king kong on the other.

I like AP, but someone needs to tell me why you think Jordon can't do it for us?
I know he was hurt last year
but in 2005 he rushed for 1,025 yards and ran for 9 TDs.
He had 70 recpt for 563 yards & 2 more TDs.
I think he didn't even start every game.
If we can fix this line. I think he can be very productive.
Just my 2 cents on the first pick, we could use that pick on a posistion that we need more help at. Also I am not opposed to take a RB later in the draft since I think we need to groom someone and compete with Huggy Bear's Cub.

He can get it done when he wants to be in shape and study the playbook, or at least know whats going on offensively. I just dont think he is speedy enough to make something out of nothing like other backs. He also doesnt use his size/power enough. He runs like fucking Tiki Barber instead of L.Jordan.

When Jordan attacks the LOS he's a very good back.

Jordan only attacks the LOS about 10% of the time.

Jordan is only a very good back about 10% of the time.

That's why I want Adrian Peterson.

Let me throw this out there for y'all's opinions: Will the return to zone blocking be beneficial for LaMont? Why or why not?

He averaged 3.8 the year he broke a 1000 with Zone. He averaged 3.8 last year with Man. I dont see much difference. It depends more on him and his focus.

I think Jordan's tendency to hesitate will be even more harmfull in a ZBS. Denver looks for a specific type of back for their scheme: Gotta have the vision to see the cutback lane, hit it, run like hell. I just don't see Jordan being a good fit.
