9ers are 5-10 now. They rock.

The Jets and Falcons almost did us a solid, but came up short. Birds lost in OT. Man, that sucked.

KC was within a FG, but they hated on us by hating on themselves. Tricky bitches.

We were this close to getting bumped back into the top 5. Lame ass teams couldn't get it done for us, though.

We did get a lil boost with the 9er win, though. That's something.

We can still move up a few spots right?

Yeah, but I don't expect the teams ahead of us to come that close to winning this coming week.

Still, when the final opponents' winning % gets tallied, we may end up being the first of the 4-12 teams to draft. Anticipating that sort of luck would be foolish, but it remains a possibility.

According to GBN, we're slotted 6th right now with KC still ahead of us by .05, which, needless to say, is a mighty slim margin.

If either the Jets (.525) or Falcons (.529) win this week, we leapfrog them. The Rams are at .513, same as us, so we'd need them to win and then some magic to jack up their opponents' win % just a smidge.

Either KC or the Jets win, so we automatically move up one spot. Then if the Falcons upset Seattle who is locked in the #3 NFC playoff spot and might rest people, we move up again.

KC and the Jets play this week? Hah! Perfect. The Herm Bowl. No matter the outcome, we win. That's tough to beat.

Hmm. That St. Louis @ AZ game looks promising. The Rams are kinda falling apart at the seams right now, but maybe they can pull this one out of their asses.

A Jets win pushes them below both KC and Us. I can live with that. Still feel better if KC wasn't in cockblock position, though.

Atlanta looking good at the half...

Niners not so much with Chris freakin Weinke at QB... Looks like Brady Quinn will get the ball the rest of the way for the Browns... BQ looked good on his first drive with both Edwards and Winslow dropping sure TD passes...

9ers have their 5th win. They're no longer relevant, unless we pull a win out of our ass today. That ain't happening, so...fuggem.

Falcons trying to help us out, but Seattle's 2s are pretty fucking good. Seneca Wallace couldn't reach the top shelf if he were standing on a chair, but the guy can play some QB. Moe Morris is no slouch either.

Falcons down by 7 to Seattle's 2s. This may not be a gimme, especially since ATL's 1s are comparable to most team's 3s.

The Rams/Cards game later will be interesting. Could be a boost for us.

Chiefs...Jets...tough to call. Both need OL and DL help in the worst way. In theory, the Chiefs are the team more likely to go OL. But I wouldn't call that a lock by any stretch.

Fraid not, champ. It's Wallace.

Crumpler with the bowling ball style TD. Nice one.

If the Jets really are in danger of losing Dewayne Robertson, then they really, really will need DL.

They just drafted Mangold and D'Brick, so I don't see OL as nearly as big a need for the Jets as it is for the Chiefs. What the Jets need are guards, and no one takes a guard in the top 5.

Is DR a FA? Why aren't we jihading for him? Bad fit for a 34, but in a 4-3...

The Jets need a RT as well. They did just draft Manglold and Brick...but those are the only two OLs they have who are worth a shit. That a problem, and a big one.

Wallace gives up the ball. Crumpler with another TD. We're going to the Super...um...top 5!

So much for Wallace playing good ball. There's his 2nd turnover in 2 series.
