25-26 Dubs quest for 5

That's how sports works. The new salary rules make it pretty unlikely we'll see either sustain for years though. Especially OKC, who has a history of being cheap. They'll have to start making some business decisions this offseason once Holmgren and Williams extensions kick in.

It was a good run considering how badly the Dubs had sucked for the longest time. OKC still has two first round picks in the top 15 this draft so they should be in good shape for the foreseeable future.

The flip side is that they spent the better part of 15 years building to get to this point. People forget all the times they traded talent away for future draft capital only to do it all over again.

It's pretty funny it came largely at the Clippers expense though. Fuck those guys.
 
I think it would have been cool to see Steph in a Knick uniform. He deserves another title before he packs it in. Its never going to happen in GS.

They have the front court size with KAT, Mitchell Robinson and OG. They've been playing good team basketball and really pushing the ball up court.

Too much flopping and soft fouls and the ridiculous Euro step. Far cry from the days of the Jordan Bulls, Laimbeer Pistons.
 
I'll try to watch the finals, I've always kind of liked the Knicks so I have a team to root for. My daughter is getting married this week so I probably won't catch much.
 
Spurs probably not going to win this series but that young lineup is going to dominate the West for years to come. Aside from Steph, Dubs have no one that would even sniff their starting rotation.
