2026 UDFA thread

And some Raider fans here insisted Zamir was fast. I don't know where that came from probably a pro day number or something, but it sure didn't show up on the field he looked like a 4.5 dude that would get ran down should he get open green in front of him.

If he makes the team, can I call him the "Mad Jap"? Not meant to be racist or offensive. We had a kid on our college hockey team from Quebec who was Japanese. He played defense and had a nasty slap shot so we came up with the moniker "Mad Jap". It would bring back great memories.

Most people don't like using draft picks on DB's but our secondary was just ass and Stokes is injury prone.. Then you roll the dice on McCoy int he 4th. If he gets cleared to play, he is most likely starting opposite Stokes. Porter might not even see the field unless someone gets hurt.

Camp will be interesting. Rookie CBs get roasted, and Porter will be in his second season.

If McCoy earns a spot, I'd bet it's Stokes'. McCoy and Porter are good at man. Stokes is a zone CB, bad hips and a transition so bad he falls down with alarming frequency.

Look up LtCol Evans Carlson

Looks like a tweener…. 6’3, 240 is very much on the small size for a DE. Maybe ok size as a stand up edge that also has coverage responsibilities (and from the video clip he almost looks more like a yoked up safety…). So he should have a high athletic (movement) RAS score at DE versus guys that are generally 20-40 lbs heavier and perhaps 1-3” taller.

He’d be replacing a 6’7”/240 lb DE. Yes, he’s more in line with the size of OLB currently on the roster. Maxx and Paye are now the two bigger guys.

Edges all the same thing...

Had a little bit of a bidding war for a couple of them, I reckon.

Few Key Notes:

- High GTD can also be the player was in steep competition for, also does indicate a player that the staff could view as a more likely candidate to make the 53 man roster (in 2025, Greedy Vance signed for 80k GTD, Jahfari Harvey 0, and Carter Runyon 115k) also notable Ma'ae 90k.

- Slone/Rucker ranked T10th for all UDFA, Roberts ranked 17th. The team gave out the 3rd highest UDFA GTD money of all teams behind KC & TEN
- Slone the 2nd highest paid UDFA EDGE rusher (Logan Fano), Rucker 2nd highest paid UDFA WR, Hemby highest paid UDFA RB, and Roberts 4th highest paid UDFA WR. Gary Smith 4th highest paid UDFA DT
- Tyler Duzansky the highest paid LS in terms of GTD money ever at 110k
- Matsuzawa the 2nd highest paid K in 2026 for GTD money, but 6th all time. Dom Zvada in 2026 highest paid ever at 145k GTD.
- #Raiders draft pick Malik Benson earning just 275k GTD & DT Brandon Cleveland at 158k GTD - LS Alex Ward is earning 0 GTD $
