Raiders are first in line for waiver claims. And this isn't like fantasy football where using a waiver claim moves you to the bottom. The Raiders could theoretically claim several players during cutdowns, and they remain ahead of every other team until week three of the regular season. :cool:

I think DT, and possible LB are at top of that list. Everyone thinks we'll nab a WR but I think we'll roll with what we have.

I don’t think LB is a position we look to “upgrade”. For the most part our backups have played well and they are core members of our ST’s unit.

We could absolutely use a DT and a WR and if we are lucky a surprise OG or RT that gets cut.

Eich has taken a significant step back and I dont consider slone an lb. Lind can stay but we need 1 more. Preferably athletic.

When Dean gets hurt, and he's going to get hurt, we're going to need someone to step in who knows what he's doing. I'd be keeping a close eye on veteran options that can be a stopgap starter this season. Not going to be anyone outstanding, but someone who's Raider good may be possible.
 
I just hope this team looks surprisingly different after they attack the waiver wire on Sunday.

Man, you might be right but that WR depth chart is pitiful.
 
Being #1 on the waiver wire might make this thread intredesting.

Or fail to do so !!!!
