2026 Raiders Schedule

I think these international games should be reserved for preseason games. Nothing like fucking season ticket holders out of a game.
International games should be non-conference games as should games after bye weeks.

Q’s speculating/forwarding a rumor that Raiders are opening at home (it’s been a while) against Buff (ouch). Personally, I’m a fan of opening on the road, particularly when trying to steal a game (like against Buff). So what if you lose as an underdog on the road? Madden wrote at it. It was one reason he liked the A’s baseball field. NFL did not want to show an opening day being played on a diamond.

Buffalo would be a tough draw off the bat. But we won our first game last year and ended up picking first overall so not like the first game matters in the grand scheme anyways.

Not sure why, if true, these 9 games were leaked. But this is what’s being said prior to the schedule being released:
  • Dolphins vs Raiders WK1
  • Chefs vs Raiders WK4
  • Bills vs Raiders WK6
  • Rams vs Raiders WK7
  • Raiders vs Jets WK8
  • Hawks vs Raiders WK10
  • Dolts vs Raiders WK14
  • Donks vs Raiders WK15
  • Titans vs Raiders WK 16

I’d imagine that there would be a prime time game or two on the schedule this year to take advantage of the “Mendoza Effect”. Maybe more likely in the second half of the season to avoid Cousins games…

Would think so.

I'd expect 1 each of monday/Sunday night/Thursday.

Maybe a pair of Thursdays instead of a monday/Sunday. They love to put the crap fests there.

Let’s talk about NET REST

Teams with > +7 days net rest edge in 2025:

SEA: 14 wins
LAR: 12 wins
SF: 12 wins
DET: 9 wins
MIA: 7 wins

Teams with < -7 days net rest edge in 2025:

LV: 3 wins
WAS: 5 wins
NO: 6 wins

Who will benefit in 2026?

Well, we got Mendoza so the jokes on the NFL. Let’s see if the NFL double downs on the Raiders/Brady.

Maybe look at wins over projected… injuries to the QB wrecked Washington. NO and Vegas were projected shitty teams and that still happened. Seeing Detroit 9 wins as a positive for the theory kind of skews that a bit seeing how they were projected NFC team in the SB by some. Or at minimum in the hunt and they had to the most rest days. Rams SF both expected to be good. Miami expected to be in no man’s land and it was with the second most rest days. KC had a favorable rest days and well they picked top 10
