2026 NFL Draft (day 2)

Too bad scouting reports aren't on the field playing
Too bad you are focused on ‘25 and ignoring ‘24, where he was the 2nd best rookie OT “on the field playing.”

As a rookie, Glaze graded out at 66.9, 2nd best among 15 Day 1 and Day 2 OT rookies per PFF.

Here is how he regressed Y2 per SIS:
  • Sacks: 3 —> 12
  • Blown pass blocks: 36 —> 40
  • Run stuffs: 0 —> 5
  • Blown run blocks: 3 —> 14
So far the draft supports that Kubiak/Dennison view Y2 as a product of bad coaching on a shit O. By KK/SpyGuy’s words and deeds, Glaze remains the incumbent RT competing for a starting job.

We will soon find out if Kubiak/Dennison agree that Y2 was a product of bad coaching on a shit O. So far, buy KK/SpyGuy’s words and deeds, Glaze is staying at RT and competing for a starting job.
And I could argue that teams got film on him and knew what to do against him in his 2nd year. I really couldnt give two fucks what he did two years ago. Koonce also looked like a player for 5 games a few years ago. You gonna throw some numbers up & defend him too?

Argue all you want. Glaze did not have an ACL. KK/SpyGuy had over $100M in FA and 4 T100 picks to support your argument. All you got is bad film by poorly coached OL on a shit O w/a QB who held onto the ball. Yet, you act as if it is gospel.

GTFOOH with that crap. He’s a Y3 player. Can he play for Dennison before you run him? Lol

You new here? Hahaa.

He will defend every draft pick every round until they get cut and he gets a poop emoji a year or so later.

20 years of A+ elite grades in every round lol.

Did you miss the part that I said he could be serviceable and good depth? Sorry I'm not dangling his nut sack on my tongue like you are. I wasn't super impressed with his rookie year either. You like him and think he has a great future ahead of him, I think he'll be average at best. Nothing wrong with either of our opinions

It’s as if KK and SpyGuy are lying to us. lol. No matter how often they speak positively about Glaze at RT, BR.net remains in denial.

Glaze reportedly crushed it at the Senior Bowl. And his scouting report says:

Coming out of Maryland, Delmar "DJ" Glaze was projected to be best suited for an inside/outside zone blocking scheme due to his fluidity in space and capability to perform well on combo blocks and reach blocks.

His best fit was often identified as a guard or a swing tackle in a scheme that utilizes his mobility rather than a pure power/gap scheme.

Key Scheme Fit Features:
  • Zone Scheme Fit: Scouting reports highlighted his potential in zone blocking, where he can use his agility and technique to leverage defenders and work effectively with other linemen on combos.
  • Position Versatility: While he played left and right tackle at Maryland, many analysts projected him as a potential starter at guard in the NFL, where his strength and ability to work in close quarters could be maximized.
  • Best Run Style: Glaze is effective on angle-drive blocks and as a drive man on double-teams, using his long arms (82-inch wingspan) to steer defenders.
  • Pass Protection Approach: He is a calculated pass protector with a high floor, using strong hand placement to end reps quickly.
    Cheesehead TV +5
Note: Glaze was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2024 NFL Draft, a team that sometimes utilizes a mix of zone and gap schemes, fitting his versatile profile.

No. That was CYA when you wrote it. It was not the message, to which I responded. I like that Glaze out performed his draft slot as a rookie and regressed for reasons that do not remove my optimism. @007 has pronounced him roadkill, which is where your post went. Don’t project a straw man into my position. I want Grant to win the RT job.

Give credit to the Browns, they’ve easily had the best draft. Fano, Boston, Concepcion, EMW, and Austin Barber… love that haul.

Two young QBs and Watson on the roster. I’ll root for Cle to get better and beat Pitts and Balt. No brainer. Give them hell.

Cya? By thinking he can be serviceable player? That's what I think his upside is. That's not cya, that's an opinion. Other than that, yes he sucks now & sucked last year. No number formula that you throw out there is going to change that. Again, what he did as a rookie is irrelevant 2 years later. Hopefully he does win a starting job and turns out to be good. That means we have a good rt and good depth. Not sure why I wouldn't root for that. I just don't see Glaze doing that

Fair enough.
