2026 NFL Draft (day 2)

I think you told me about using it to set up your Lil Al board lol

Nah I did a big breakdown years ago on how it depends on the GM.

Reggie brought in different guys and would pick a few, Spytek nobody knows. Last year he picked four this year maybe it ends up the same.

Gruden was a moron who posted his own separate board in his basement. Telesco was different as well.

A stable team with a long term setup and front office you might glean something from the visits.

I've never been able to key in on the visit stuff.

Nobody here heard a peep about Stukes or Zuhn or Keyron coming in. Those names were rarely listed on the "Raider interest" lists.

All the guys we were interested in via the media we passed over 3 times tonight lmfao. Maybe the beat writers suck even worse than we thought.

Some teams use the visits to verify concerns and others bring in their favorite guys to confirm things.

Spy kept it close to the vest. Although did say he loves OL

Well my Lil Al is mostly toast. Not the guys I wanted today despite opportunity. But no qualms with guys we took.
Current status. Per usual, Day 3 will likely decide the ‘lil Al.

@scootertramp and @Jayl hit on Zuhn wrong round!

I didnt see if anyone had that edge player on a quick glance.

Lil Al getting tight!

Since I have no idea who he was referencing, I will give DK a hood pass on this one. He’s an Ally of my peoples and both of you would be invited to the bbq. Salute
Social Ally.

Never heard of that term until my daughters went to college—one in Portland and one to Loyola in New Orleans for music. Both creative arts types, justice warriors. Both march for causes, and not just the ones they learned at home. One works for Make-a-Wish in Portland and shares her tattoos with me—wife is not a fan of those. The other is just leaving her job at a non-profit called Girls on the Run, where she was a manager in the New Orleans chapter finding and working with “coaches” at elementary schools teaching girls the importance of athletics, including and in particular to those not involved in or successful at team sports. She has gone commercial working for a national HVAC company in charge of local social media and partnering with local community groups giving away charity dollars she use to beg for.

Both are/were “Allies” to pretty much everything. I say were b/c I learned something not too long ago. The word “gay” has been recaptured, at least from one POV. It no longer means or just mesns homosexual. It’s a fluid term from its be-happy (gay) origins.

Both daughters are in long-term relationships with men. But my daughter in New Orleans has dated girls—almost brought a previous partner (a girl) (after she broke up with a college boyfriend) to my 60th birthday party. But she reconnected with her high school boyfriend, and they are getting serious.

My other daughter brought her boyfriend to my 60th birthday party. They have been dating for over a year and are about to move in together. He might be the one. He gets her.

I wrote all that to tell you this: my daughters are no longer just “allies.” They came out of the closet. My daughter in New Orleans started as an ally but tried kissing girls, liked it, and came out as bisexual in college. My other daughter came out last year. I said WTF? You date guys. She had admitted to kissing a girl in college and not liking it. She’s not into that. So, I asked her, what closest are you coming out of? Lol

Well, she’s part of the club too. She identifies as gay. It was not enough to be an ally. lol. She is a heterosexual “gay” person. I kid you not. An ally can be a bridge, too, I’ve concluded. Maybe DK is black like Maxx?

Huh. Neat.

49ers second-round pick De'Zhaun Stribling is nephew of WWE Hall of Famer Don 'The Rock' Muraco
‘9ers drafted two of my ‘lil Al picks earlier than I projected them to the Raiders. That can’t be good. Lol

Glaze can't and may not be a scheme fit. JPJ is a walking concussion so wipe those two off of the list
It’s as if KK and SpyGuy are lying to us. lol. No matter how often they speak positively about Glaze at RT, BR.net remains in denial.

Glaze reportedly crushed it at the Senior Bowl. And his scouting report says:

Coming out of Maryland, Delmar "DJ" Glaze was projected to be best suited for an inside/outside zone blocking scheme due to his fluidity in space and capability to perform well on combo blocks and reach blocks.

His best fit was often identified as a guard or a swing tackle in a scheme that utilizes his mobility rather than a pure power/gap scheme.

Key Scheme Fit Features:
  • Zone Scheme Fit: Scouting reports highlighted his potential in zone blocking, where he can use his agility and technique to leverage defenders and work effectively with other linemen on combos.
  • Position Versatility: While he played left and right tackle at Maryland, many analysts projected him as a potential starter at guard in the NFL, where his strength and ability to work in close quarters could be maximized.
  • Best Run Style: Glaze is effective on angle-drive blocks and as a drive man on double-teams, using his long arms (82-inch wingspan) to steer defenders.
  • Pass Protection Approach: He is a calculated pass protector with a high floor, using strong hand placement to end reps quickly.
    Cheesehead TV +5
Note: Glaze was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2024 NFL Draft, a team that sometimes utilizes a mix of zone and gap schemes, fitting his versatile profile.

Too bad scouting reports aren't on the field playing

I don't hate Glaze, I think he could be serviceable as a starter or good depth

We watched Glaze play and be the worst tackle in football.

It ain’t anything more complicated than that. Maybe the new OL coach can help him or maybe Spytek fucked up not addressing the issue. Who knows.
